The parent Graduation Committee did an absolutely amazing job of decorating the undercover area. They spent many hours making awesome pompoms that decorated the stage and backdrop. Everyone did so well in respecting the COVID rules and a great ceremony was had. The food for the social part of the night was well received and enjoyed by the students and the dancing was so much fun. Congratulations to
Matilda Giles and Pai Pou-Matatahi for winning the dance competition from Simmonds Dance Studio, who did a great job as usual. The students looked so grown up and mature in their outfits and a great time was had by all. Then on Tuesday we went to the Outback Splash where we had perfect weather for the water slides. I have to say that I believe our students were the best behaved there and I was so proud of them. Well done everyone. Another Congratulations! We have a very humble Year 6 student, who not only received entrance into the Gifted and Talented Extension program for high school at Carine Senior High but also is doing Extension French for the very first time. He didn’t think it fell into the category of a scholarship so he did not let anyone know! Extremely WELL DONE JADEN HUYNH!! We are sure you will do extremely well and we look forward to hearing about your achievements in the future years to come. Huge congratulations to Taylor Jalla and Kahin Fareh who were accepted into PEAC 2021 (Primary Extension and Challenge). Out of 9000 students who are tested state wide, only 3.5% of students are accepted into PEAC. A fantastic achievement!
