READ ACROSS AMERICA Read Across America is a national reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading with this theme in school year 2023: Celebrating a Nation of Diverse Readers. At Casa Blanca Community School (CBCS) we believe in the power of books to build identity and resilience. We celebrate Native American Read S.D Nelson Across America by celebrating Indigenous authors and illustrators focusing on stories of contemporary life. Across the Community, everyone can get involved in bringing reading excitement to children of all ages. It is our goal to make our community the place where Read Across America is on everyone's calendar. When people take time to read, children get the message that reading is particularly important. Parents, educators, and members of our Community who take time to read and celebrate Read Across Daniel Vandever America create strong, independent, and motivated children that celebrate their Si-sohith e’ diversity. Here are some pictures we captured from this years successful Native American Read Across America.
