Classic, Hope maintains a specially trained, supervised
team of “survivor” volunteers. These volunteers are
linked with newly diagnosed women and provide
support by sharing their experience of having “been
there”. In addition, Hope supports a provincial network
of community contact volunteers. These trained
volunteers live in communities around Manitoba and
can offer valuable assistance with accessing print
materials and videos, local and provincial breast cancer
services, and “survivor” programs in their home areas.
