Dear Families and Friends,
We have made it 75% of the way through the school year. The last 25% is
the hardest. The weather gets warmer, we spend more time outside doing
activities, and that may cause some to spend less time on their school
work. This was the case for me when I was in school. 4th quarter was the
best quarter as it meant the end of the school year but it also was the
hardest part of the year for me academically.
Finishing the school year strong, and moving into the next year on a high
note is a great way to salvage a less than desirable year and give continued
momentum to those that have had a great year. St. Paul tells Timothy in
his second letter Chapter 4 verse 7 “I have fought the good fight, I have
finished the race, I have kept the faith”. Finish the year strong, prepare
yourself for what is coming next year. Are you ready to be in 2nd grade, 5th
Grade, 7th Grade? Are you Ready to be a Freshman either in High School
or College? It is never to late to turn over a new leaf. Take strides to be the
best you can be to prepare yourself for what is next.
Make this, the 4th quarter, your best quarter. You have the ability, you are
supported. St. Catherine of Siena told us to “Be who God meant you to be
and you will set the world on fire”! All fires start with a simple spark. Find
you, find your spark, start your fire!

The beloved “Dessert Dash” is back - with a sweet twist!
Online bidding for these 10 delicious “DESSERT DASH” items will
begin at 12pm on Wednesday, April 14. You will have to be swift!…
bidding will close at 11:59pm on Friday, April 16!
The winner* of each dessert will be contacted on Saturday
morning, April 17th! Each dessert will be “dashed”
