Memberships are the main component to our club. We want to encourage members to
think of friends or colleagues that would be great additions to the Oaks. A strong
membership base is necessary for a healthy club and we need your help to get there.

Course Notes
We have had a lot of inquiry about the condition of the golf course and the impact the last winter blast will have on the course.
While it will be 6-8 weeks before any damage will be noticeable on the dormant grass, it is now that we can all help with preventive
measures to reduce traffic wear.
Last year the course received record play. Carts were on the course with single riders in record numbers. Soil compaction and
‘traffic wear’ were very evident this fall as grass went into dormancy.
Beginning April 1st, we are asking you to start sharing carts and riding together. If you are a 3-some or 5-some, there will be a single
cart, of course. However, if you choose to take a single cart and ride alone, you will be charged a $20 cart fee.
As we come out of dormancy we will be implementing programs that seek a balance between play and course conservancy.
Our goal is to allow as much unrestricted play on weekends with as little impact as possible on weekdays.
Dan Robinson and his team will have the agronomic plan to once again get our course in excellent condition.
*You might have already noticed white stakes with green tops along the cart paths. This will be our protocol moving forward when
carts are off paths. All carts should enter and exit at these stakes. The stakes will be moved on a regular basis. After entering at the
stake, scatter as you drive down the fairway, avoid wet and low sunlit areas, and only drive in the rough when returning to path at
exit stake.
Club Information
* You could see boundaries put in place in high traffic areas to alleviate the compaction of soil and traffic wear.
* This could include rotation of ‘cart path only’ holes as needed.
*All carts should remain on path near greens and tee boxes. Avoid driving carts near sand bunkers.
*Please avoid restricted areas as marked by stakes and or ropes. Our goal is to be proactive now with wear areas and problem traffic
patterns so our collective efforts will be beneficial to all golfers.
We are asking for every golfer to help. With all that has been done inside and out at the Oaks leading up to our historic event, our
goal is to have our course in excellent shape during our Centennial Year 2021!
