Chemistry Colonia Worldcup of Olympic Boxing Cologne , Germany April 9 until 14, 2018 Invitation Dear Presidents and Secretary Generals, It’s my great pleasure to invite your federation to take part at the Chemistry Colonia Worldcup of Olympic Boxing 2019 for Men and Women Elite which will be held from April 9 - 14, 2019 in the city of Cologne, Germany. This invitation letter includes all necessary information which you need in reference to the Chemistry Worldcup of Olympic Boxing including registration and hotel information. We, the German Boxing Association with the aid of the LOC, will ensure that your Team Delegations will have a successful residence and competition in the city of Cologne. Participation 1-2 Boxers – 1 Official 3-4 Boxers – 2 Officials + AIBA R&J 5-8 Boxers – 3 Officials + AIBA R&J 8-12 Boxers – 4 Officials + 2 AIBA R&J 12-17 Boxers – 5 Officials + 2 AIBA R&J All coaches must be AIBA Certified Coaches (1—3 stars), registered in the AIBA Database as LOC will check each Coach’s status at the time of registration. Without the appropriate AIBA Certification, coaches will not be allowed to enter the competition. All R&J must be AIBA Certified R&J (1-3 stars), 5. Location Competition Venue: Sporthalle Süd, Vorgebirgstr, 76, Köln Hotel and Accreditation: Marriott Hotel, Johannisstraße 76-80, 50668 Köln 6. Weight Category The Tournament will be staged in 10 Weight Categories Men and 7 Weight Categories Women: Men: 49kg, 52kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg, 91+kg Women: 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg 7. Number of Rounds Three (3) rounds of three (3) minutes, one (1) minute rest between rounds 8. Scoring System AIBA Scoring System - 10 Point -Scoring System will be used 9. Registration Please kindly fill the attached form and send it back to the Local Organizing Committee. a. For Final Entry Registration: Send scanned final entry form via e-mail to Mrs. Portna: e.portna@boxverband.de - Deadline March 15, 2019 10. Requirements a. All Boxers must bring along with them: - International AIBA Recordbook as well as up to date medical examinations - Current and valid Passport
b. Boxers Uniform: - Each boxer must bring two sets of uniform - The colours of these two sets of uniform must be in accordance with AIBA Technical and Competition Rules. 11. Boxing Equipment LOC will provide Adidas boxing gloves and headguards (women) to all Boxers for all Bouts. The gloves and headguards (women) are compulsory official items which all Boxers must wear, as they will not be allowed to wear personal ones. 12. Transportation All delegations will be welcomed at the Airport “Cologne/Bonn” or “Düsseldorf”. The LOC will arrange transportation between Airport and Hotel and Hotel and Venue. 13. Financial Conditions A) Participants are responsible for the transportation to the airports Cologne/Bonn , Airport Düsseldorf or the train station Cologne. B) Room Rates for Team Delegations are as follows: Courtyard by Marriott Cologne - Modern Business Hotel First come first serve! - Fitness Room - Free wifi - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be in the Marriott Hotel 500m away For double occupancy – (2 person per 60 € per day including 3 meals rooms – twin beds) upon availability For single occupancy – (1 person per 75 € per day including 3 meals room) upon availability
Marriott Cologne - Comfort Hotel - Fitness Room First come first serve! - Free wifi - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Weigh-In will be in this Hotel For double occupancy – (2 person per 70 € per day including 3 meals rooms – twin beds) upon availability For single occupancy – (1 person per 85 € per day including 3 meals room) upon availability
All participating National Federations are required to pay the total amount for their accommodation for the entire Competition Period by BANK TRANSFER in EURO – Deadline 30.03.2019 Bank Details: Deutscher Boxsport Verband e.V. IBAN: DE96 5207 0024 0234 5676 00 BIC: DEUTDEDB520 - Team Delegations will not be allowed to receive accreditations and hotel room keys if the payment is not made to the full extent. Check-In and Check-Out: - The room rates are only provided for the competition period from April 09- 14, 2019. Delegations that will come before or leave after Competition Period and Extra Officials shall pay 100 € for double occupancy and 140 € for single occupancy. 14. Insurance All participants are responsible for medical insurance by their own. 15. Visa
The LOC will grant assistance to all delegations on visa matters.
