CARNIVAL PROGRAM
Monday 4th January 2021
7.30 am: All coaches and managers to meet at Armidale Sportsground for a
pre-Carnival meeting. Welcome packs, Cricket balls, COVID 19 QR codes,
Programs and Carnival information will be distributed at this meeting along
with any final housekeeping.
8:00 am: All teams, management and supporters to meet at the
Sportsground for Team Photographs (see Photo Roster)
8:20 am: Welcome to Country – Steve Widders
Official Opening – Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall MP
9:30 am: Games to commence as per schedule – Please see Draw for times
A Number of T20 matches will be played during the day and night.
Unfortunately, due to COVID 19 we have had to cancel our dinner
event. We are hopeful to be able to offer a BBQ & Bar at the
Sportsground on the Monday night at the 20/20 night game,
however this will be subject to Health restrictions.
5:00 pm: Coaches and Managers to meet at Sportsground Club house to
confirm results and discuss issues relating to the day’s events.
Tuesday 5th January 2021
9:30 am: Games to commence as per schedule.
7.00 pm: Reconciliation Cup will be played at the Sportsground. It would be
lovely to see as many people attend as possible as this is the 20 year
Anniversary for this Cup. Four WTS players will be invited to play in this
game.
Wednesday 3rd January 2021
9:30 am: Games to commence as per schedule.
Thursday 5th January 2021
9:30 am: Games to commence as per schedule.
Games other than the final will be 40-over matches to allow for
players, parents and supporters to get to the Sportsground to
watch the completion of the Final.
PM: Walter Taylor Shield – Presentation
Presentation will be held at the Armidale Sportsground Clubhouse
immediately following the completion of the Final.
PLEASE NOTE:
In the event of unfavourable weather, the decision will be made and
posted on ADCA Facebook page and website, the Walter Taylor Shield
(WTS) Facebook page. Managers will also be advised by 8.00am daily via
WhatsApp group.
Team photographs taken at the Sportsground on Monday will be
available for collection at the Final Presentation.
