Chemistry Worldcup of Olympic Boxing Halle (Saale), Germany June 19 until 24, 2018 Invitation Dear Presidents and Secretary Generals, It’s my great pleasure to invite your federation to take part at the Chemistry Worldcup of Olympic Boxing 2018 for Men/ Elite which will be held from June 19 -24, 2018 in the city of Halle (Saale), Germany. This invitation letter includes all necessary information which you need in reference to the Chemistry Worldcup of Olympic Boxing including registration and hotel information. We, the German Boxing Association with the aid of the LOC, will ensure that your Team Delegations will have a successful residence and competition in the city of Halle (Saale). Participation 1-2 Boxers – 1 Official 3-4 Boxers – 2 Officials + AIBA R&J 5-8 Boxers – 3 Officials + AIBA R&J 8-12 Boxers – 4 Officials + 2 AIBA R&J All coaches must be AIBA Certified Coaches (1—3 starts), registered in the AIBA Database as LOC will check each Coach’s status at the time of registration. Without the appropriate AIBA Certification, coaches will not be allowed to enter the competition. 5. Location Competition Venue: Erdgas-Sportarena, Nietlebener Straße 14, 06126 Halle (Saale), Germany Hotel and Accreditation: TRYP by Wyndham Halle Hotel, Halle (Saale) Neustädter Passage 5, 06122 Halle (Saale), Germany 6. Weight Category The Tournament will be staged in 10 Weight Categories: 49kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg, 91+kg 7. Number of Rounds Three (3) rounds of three (3) minutes, one (1) minute rest between rounds 8. Scoring System AIBA Scoring System - 10 Point -Scoring System will be used 9. Registration Please kindly fill the attached form and send it back to the Local Organizing Committee. a. For Preliminary Entry Registration: Send scanned preliminary registration form via e-mail to Mrs. Nord: v.nord@boxverband.de - Deadline April 30, 2018 b. For Final Entry Registration: Send scanned final registration form via e-mail to Mrs. Nord: v.nord@boxverband.de - Deadline May 31, 2018 10. Requirements a. All Boxers must bring along with them: - International AIBA Recordbook as well as up to date medical examinations - Current and valid Passport
b. Boxers Uniform: - Each boxer must bring two sets of uniform - The colours of these two sets of uniform must be in accordance with AIBA Technical and Competition Rules. 11. Boxing Equipment LOC will provide Adidas boxing gloves to all Boxers for all Bouts. The gloves are compulsory official items which all Boxers must wear, as they will not be allowed to wear personal ones. No Headguards will be used according to the AIBA Rules. 10 oz Gloves will be used from Bantam (56kg) to Light Welterweight category (64 kg). 12 oz Gloves will be used from Welterweight category (69 kg) to Super Heavyweight category (91+ kg). 12. Transportation All delegations will be welcomed at the Airport “Leipzig/Halle” or “Berlin”. The LOC will arrange transportation between Airport and Hotel and Hotel and Venue. 13. Financial Conditions Participants are responsible for providing themselves transportation to and from Leipzig/Halle or Berlin. Room Rates for Team Delegations are as follows: - 50 Euros per person per day in double room - 2 separate beds (if available) including 3 meals - 70 Euros per person per day for single rooms (if available) including 3 meals All participating National Federations are required to pay the total amount for their accommodation for the entire Competition Period by BANK TRANSFER in EURO – Deadline 12.06.2018 Bank Details: Deutscher Boxsport Verband e.V. Check-In and Check-Out: - The room rates are only provided for the competition period from June 19- 24, 2018.
d. Delegations that will come before or leave after Competition Period and Extra Officials shall pay 90 EUR per person per day including 3 meals. 14. Insurance All participants are responsible for medical insurance by their own. 15. Visa The LOC will grant assistance to all delegations on visa matters.
