Serve the LORD with gladness! Come before him with shouts of joy!
Know that the LORD is God-- he made us; we belong to him.

Enter his gates with thanks; enter his courtyards with praise! Thank him! Bless his name!

his faithfulness lasts generation after generation!

Prayer of Confession
Jesus, shepherd of our souls, you invite us to a close relationship, one so intimate we can
recognize your voice. We confess we often envision a life-line relationship, where we call on
you when we need help. Then we complain that our lives seem lonely. We have a God-sized
hole that only You, Lord, can fill. Help us seek out moments of connection with you during
the day, so when we need help, we know what you sound like! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
