2 Dining at Ballenberg Welcome The Ballenberg open-air museum is always worth a visit. We appreciate your interest. Our top priority is to make your event a complete success. We are happy provide professional advice and support to assist you with the organisation. On the following pages, you will find ideas and suggestions for your event. The menu suggestions are intended for groups of 20 people or more. For smaller groups, we recommend our à la carte menu. There are three beautiful venues for dining in a historic setting at Ballenberg, which can accommodate between 10 and 350 people. We will gladly provide you with a marquee on request. Our catering department can serve groups of 20 or more people, from light buffets to complete menus. On request, we can also handle entire events from A to Z. 3 Our restaurants Wilerhorn inn Rooms Capacity The chalet-style “Wilerhorn” at the east / Brienzwiler Ground floor restaurant 70 entrance is the ideal venue for banquets of all kinds Ground floor hall 80 such as group trips, company parties, anniversaries, First floor banquet room 220 weddings etc. Terrace 150 The “Wilerhorn” is also ideal for NON-museum visitors, as the inn is located in front of the museum entrance in an excellent, easily accessible location. There are many parking spaces are available and the public bus will take you right to the entrance! Alter Bären Inn Rooms Capacity At the West / Hofstetten entrance stands the “Old Ground floor restaurant 60 bear” inn. This Bernese farmhouse, originally from Ground floor hall 40 Rapperswil, was originally run as a restaurant in the East first floor banquet room 60 last century.
