OVERVIEW
Our full-service golf resort encompasses
spectacular views of Candle Lake with an RV
campground and a variety of cabins and
townhouses. On-site facilities include the Water's
Edge Restaurant & Lounge, state of the art fitness
facilities and convention space for 12 - 300
people.

The resort's golf course is made up of 18 holes
carved out of the beautiful forest. It will
challenge any golfer with water hazards, rough
and 26 sand traps.Three sets of tees on each hole
can accommodate all skill levels.

The resort also offers guests other year-round
outdoor experiences. The variety of hiking,
cycling and ATV trails will give guests the
opportunity to take in some great scenery and
excellent bird and wildlife viewing.
Snowmobilers can take advantage of hundreds of
kilometres of snowmobile trails surrounding the
resort.

The marina,with approximately 195 slips and
pontoon rentals, offers access to fun on the lake.

We offer many great add ons for your time at
Candle Lake Golf Resort. Speak with your event
services coordinator about daily marina rentals,
pontoon boat rentals; and our firewater hot tubs.

Lake on a championship course. Talk to your

F.A.Q
May we keep the leftovers?
As per Health Canada standards, no buffet food
may be removed from the premises.

May we bring our own drinks or food?
No outside alcohol is permitted in the facilities
without pre-approved SLGA permitting. Surcharges
of $500 per infraction may be levied on a case-by-
case basis.

No outside food is permitted in the facilities with
the exception of wedding cakes. Wedding cakes may
be stored overnight in our facilities provided
ingredient list is available.

When can we decorate?
The banquet room is available to the wedding party
for setup and decoration at 8am of the booking date.
Arrangements may be made to allow access the
evening before, provided the room is not booked.
There is no confetti permitted in any conference
room.
A $500 surcharge will be applied in the event an
excessive mess left behind.

What is included in our booking?
Candle Lake Golf Resort staff will set up tables,
chairs, water stations. Linens available for use are
white or black along, with black napkins. All
centerpieces and table decor are to be set by the
guests organizing the event. CLGR will not set out
decor, cake or chair covers.

When is last call?
Last call for alcohol is 12am. Our conference
center closes every night at 1am.

Are there any additional charges to
anticipate?
All food and beverage charges are accompanied by a
non-negotiable 15% gratuity surcharge and applicable
taxes. Any event with a dance or music will be
subject to government mandated Socan and Resound
fees.

When do you need our meal plans
and final numbers?
All meal plans and final number of people in
attendance are required 30 days in advance.
Surcharges may be added for changes made within
that time.

How does payment work?
All weddings must pay a $2500 non refundable
deposit to secure their wedding date. All events
must submit payment in full 14 days prior to event.
All events require a credit card on file. Any
additional charges will be invoiced and paid via
credit card, or can be finalized in full prior to the
events departure from CLGR. If your company
requires invoicing or purchase orders, please speak
with your event services coordinator for more
information.

Cost Recovery

$9/person + tax & 15% gratuity
$7/person + tax + 15% gratuity* (only when
purchasing product through CLGR services)
* This package is available for all events, but may be subject
to bartender fees with less than 100 guests. Speak with your
event coordinator for more information*

CLGR will provide all supplies, bartenders and
mix/ice. Event planners will provide: all liquor (or
subsequent order), liquor license, ticket seller and
tickets. Your event can then decide on price per drink
(max $3 as per SLGA regulations).

SLGA rules and guidelines on cost recovery bars must
be strictly adhered to. All alcohol served and
consumed in the banquet spaces must be listed on the
SLGA license. Guests that do not wish to drink (or are
under-age) will still be subject to our corkage fees but
will have access to soft drinks, coffee and tea at no
additional cost.

CLGR is a certified SLGA retailer. Guests that order
their liquor through our services will receive a full
list of items carried in our retail outlet, assistance for
ordering, and all products will be conveniently
delivered to CLGR and set up for their event. In the
event that you may require additional products while
on site, we can accommodate an add on purchase.

BAR PACKAGES
Subsidy Bar
The event planner and CLGR will agree on a set price
per drink to charge guests. CLGR will then invoice the
difference to the event. 15% gratuities and applicable
taxes apply. In the event bar sales are less than $350,
CLGR will invoice the event a bartender charge of
$30/hr. CLGR will provide everything required for a
successful event.

Cash Bar
CLGR will provide all supplies, alcohol, mix and
bartenders. Guests will be charged current retail costs
per drink. Event must guarantee a minimum of $500
in bar sales. Event can discuss with their coordinator
regarding options to be made available or not at the
bar.

Wine on tables
Speak with your event specialist for more
information. Due to SLGA Regulations,we do not
allow home made wine to be served in our venue.
