INTRODUCTION

2020 VISION adds a NEW VIRTUAL
   DIMENSION to Cannonball

Cannonball will ROAR once again from September
7th-9th supporting tourism and local business
and raising vital funds for Barnardos and families
in crisis.    This year, the Cannonball road-trip
will roll with the same action-packed adrenalin
fuelled adventure as before but due to Covid-19
Restrictions, the spectator element of the event is
going to be VIRTUAL. This is an exciting move as
it will bring Cannonball to new audiences all over
the world and showcase Ireland as a magnificent
driving destination.

Cannonball features 190 of the finest supercars
on the planet, a network of like-minded drivers,
celebrities and over €1,100,000 raised for charities
to date.      This year, in line with government
guidelines and advice, we aim to still raise those
vital funds for charity supporting local tourism but
is will also be an opportunity to bring Cannonball
to screens all over the world via exclusive live video
streaming, webisodes, 360 live broadcasts and
online interactive video content.

A NEW Virtual dimention to Cannonball
  The COVID-19 pandemic has already brought concerts, operas, museums, as well as work and school
to living rooms all over the world – we are now adding Cannonball to that list! Cannonball will also enter
the Gaming World with a free esports event online. The Cannonball road-trip that we know and love will
                      become a Live Supercar Show with a new worldwide audience.

Some of the unique cars on Cannonball in
previous    years   include    Pagani      Zonda,
Koenigsegg, Carrera GT worth an estimated
£4,000,000 sterling! These top of the
range cars bring with them high net worth
individuals from all backgrounds who travel
the country for the duration of the event.

On the other hand novelty cars including
the Delorean (Back to the Future) complete
with Doc and Marty McFly, Rezvani Tank
– the only one in Europe, and of course, in
2019 the Pope Mobile!, Smokey and the
Bandit Truck and The Ghostbusters Sheriff car
attract crowds of all ages who come out to line
the streets and view the 190 Supercars.

The roar of 190 super cars create an electric
atmosphere in each of the host towns along the
nationwide route with a minimum 10 stops.
Plan for Cannonball Live

• Create a Social media calendar to build
the hype and excitement on the lead up to the event
while reinforcing the virtual and “Not a spectator event
– please watch live online” campaign and message.

• Host and operate a virtual online driving
championship for the month of August to
build up to event with final on the Sunday

• Create a Virtual Hot lap challenge for
Cannonballers to have some fun at the

can signup to the Cannonball esports event for free online

form, the cars and on the live streams.

• Each round of the event will have a different set of cars
representing the Cannoball entries from Sports, Hyper,
Muscle and novelty

• There will be 4 rounds live broadcast on the build up to
the Cannonball road trip

• The Final round will be live broadcast from the hotel
venue with the winner announced on the day

• Prizes will be made up of sponsors merchandise to
maximise the amplification of their brands

Bruno Mars has joined Boyzone’s Shane Lynch
along with former Miss World Rosanna Davison
and husband Wes Quirke whilst celebrity chef
Rachel Allen, The Voice Presenter Kathryn
Thomas, and RTE’s Miriam O Callaghan have also
had a Cannonball pit stop or two. Models Georgia
Salpa, Aisling Quinn, Hazel O Sullivan, Emma
Quinlan and Holly Carpenter have been keen
Cannonballers over the years as well as Roz
Purcell, Nadia Forde, Kerri Nicole Blanc, Karena
Graham and Rachel Wallace. Ryan Tubridy, Mick
