Summary of the project EVS imprinting: 365 days of community life it’s a long term service project that take place in Cagliari (Italy) and involve 7 volunteer for 12 months service coming from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Georgia, and Latvia. The project promote ad support the importance of the cultur- al diversity, solidarity and youth information. Through the activity “Impariamo le culture e la solidarietà” the volun- teers help pupils to understand better the diversity of the communi- Summary of the project ties they are part of and the richness they can have with the discover- ing of the values and habits of other cultures and also the value of the solidarity being involved in a voluntary work discovering as well which is the profile and the action of voluntary work in Cagliari. Though the activity ‘International summer week’ the volunteers sup- port the organization to realize one of the most youth intercultural festival of the Mediterranean. The youth festival gather together more then 200 people from all over the world giving a huge impact in the intercultural dialogue among different culture, lifestyle and reali- ties. 2
Through the activity “In-formazione: crea il tuo futuro reloaded” the vol- unteers support the organization in delivering information to young peo- ple about European opportunities in the field of international mobility and education through workshops and radio programmes. The projects aim to promote the developing of non-formal competencies and soft skills useful for the personal and professional future of young people. With the 3 activities the project give a big impact in the local community and in the EVS volunteers that will get a lot of experience and new skills through the voluntarism and exchange with their peers in the hosting community and growing as a person in multicultural environment. The Summary of the project visibility done with multimedia tools and materials will be created during the project (for example #100volunteerdays account and hashtag) a inter- national impact will be given especially among young people at local and international level. The scheduled activities for EVS Volunteers will be essentially 3 and they will be carried out for 12 months from October 1st, 2014 to October 1st, 2015. All the activities will be coordinated by members of the Association and by local volunteers, who will also provide training and support to EVS Volun- teers. 3
Let’s learn the cultures and solidarity "Let's learn the cultures and solidarity" is an activity carried out in collabora- tion with primary schools in Cagliari with the aim of disseminating and shar- ing the importance of multiculturalism, solidarity and voluntary work among children and adolescents. The activity will consist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of activities that our staff take place in schools, aimed at deepening the knowledge of the cultures of EVS volunteers, their volunteering experiences, and to promote volunteerism and values such as solidarity and tolerance. Through non-formal education sessions, students will be encouraged to ex- plore the diversity and variety of cultures that exist inside and outside their small frame of reference (home, school, leisure). They will have the oppor- tunity to meet third sector and youth volunteers in our community. Another task will be to draw up a brochure summarizing at the end of the activities. 4

"International Summer Week 2015" is the planning and im- plementation of an international event that brings together more than 200 young people from all parts of the world. The event takes place every summer in Sardinia for over 15 years, and in the 8-day event offers space, content and opportuni- International Summer Week 2015 ties for discussion and sharing for those who participate, be- coming ambassador of tolerance, respect and personal growth and helps to eliminate stereotypes through the un- derstanding of other cultures. During the long preparatory phase, the volunteers will be involved in promoting the event internationally, with the aim of being able to reach the largest possible number of young people through social networks, websites, blogs and other appropriate channels of promotion at the local level and in- ternationally. The volunteers will also work with the staff in giving infor- mation support to prospective participants, as indications of the places of the event, agenda, visas, possible routes of trav- el, mode of participation, etc.. During the implementation phase, the volunteers will support the organizing committee in welcoming the participants, providing the first infor- mation, managing check-in and check-out and distributing the material related to the event; collaborate in the manage- ment of non-formal and intercultural event (thematic games, discovery activities of the area, visits to archaeological sites, institutional meetings, etc) and the collection of audio / video material useful for the promotion and evaluation following the event. 6

"In-training: create your future reloaded", already carried out In-training: create your future reloaded for years in various forms and in all the territory of Sardinia, will be held in collaboration with the Regional Agency for the Right to Education, and the door MoVE (regional Centre for European mobility). Through these activities, we aim to respond to 'young people need verified by us to have more information and educa- tion on the opportunities offered by Europe and by local institu- tions. The volunteers support local staff in the creation of sessions for young people, in the preparation of text and graphics, planning and development of videos and materials on the experiences of youth mobility, to be presented within their own business. In col- laboration with the Association UnicaRadio also create a radio program to disseminate interviews and experiences of young people, and information on opportunities for international mobil- ity. 8
