PURPOSE ● The Re-Entry Task force was created to: > ensure a safe return to school (DPS buildings) for students and staff > Year End Closure > Summer Programming > 2020-21 Academic School Year > take a multi-faceted approach to include all areas that will be impacted. > work collaboratively with teachers, staff, administration and county public health officials. ● While this is a monumental task, Durham Public Schools is confident in its ability to respond and adjust to the current situation and needs of our students, staff and families.

The AIG PLC is excited about an upcoming Virtual Field Trip Opportunity! May 27th is World Otter Day. Mark your calendar for that day, May 27th (Wednesday) from 12:00 to 12:45 and visit the link below for more information. This field trip will be done through a zoom meeting. More information to come: World Otter Day with Toucan Rescue Ranch During this field trip, students will have an opportunity to ask questions. The questions will be submitted during the field trip to Ms. Sheehan or Mrs. Duncan via the chat feature in Zoom then Mrs. Duncan will submit those questions into the live feed for the field trip.

Quarter Four Grades and Report Cards
Reminder - There will be NO Quarter 4 grades. There will be NO Quarter 4 Report Card. Tasks and lessons (Zoom, Google Classroom, DPS Instructional Packet, etc.) that students are engaging in are in an effort to provide instructional continuity. They are to expose students to standards that will better prepare them for next school year.

Covid Coach App The COVID Coach app was created to support self-care and overall mental health during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Features include: ● Education about coping during the pandemic ● Tools for self-care and to improve emotional well-being ● Trackers to check your mood and measure your growth toward personal goals ● Graphs to visualize progress over time
