Airport Details Samoset Resort is located approximately two hours from the Portland and Bangor, Maine airports. Members will be responsible for booking their travel and renting their vehicles upon arrival as there is no direct transportation to and from the airport to the resort. Reservations Deadline: May 6, 2022 Group Rate: $224 + tax and gratuities Reservations can be made by phone at 1-800-341-1650, available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week, including holidays. Please inform the reservation attendant that you are with The Georgia Society of CPAs Annual Convention to get the group rate. Attire Guidelines Resort casual to all events, except the Chairman's Reception and Banquet on Tuesday evening, which is resort attire. The Opening Reception and Dinner will be held outdoors on Sunday evening, weather permitting. It has one of the largest public collections of works by sculptor Louise Nevelson, while its Wyeth Center features works of N.C., Andrew and Jamie Wyeth. On this Camden day cruise, see lighthouses, wildlife, private yachts and summer estates. Cushioned seating is available for all on board; a limited number of passengers allows guests a more intimate and comfortable ride. The schooner is also on the National Register of Historic Places and carries a fascinating history. 7
