SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Heights indicated in brackets are maximum 1st round heights Course will be open for walking at approx. 8:40am, with jumping scheduled to start at 9:00am Class Event Article Special Conditions… 1 Preliminary One Round 238 2.1 Restricted to horses graded Stakes (50cm) This is a competition against the clock. Athletes with Preliminary equality of penalties for any place will be placed in accordance with the time taken to complete the round. (21 DSJC points or under) 2 Preliminary Amethyst Series 238 2.2 Restricted to horses graded This is a competition against the clock, but in the event Preliminary J/O class (60cm) of equality of penalties for first place, there will be one jump-off against the clock. Other athletes are placed (21 DSJC points or under) 3 Novice Diamond Series according to their penalties and time in the first round. Restricted to horses graded Novice or below J/O class (70cm) (43 DSJC points or under) 4 Elementary Opal series Restricted to horses graded Elementary and below J/O class (80cm) (65 DSJC points or under) 5 Medium Emerald Series Open to horses graded J/O class (90cm) Medium and below (87 DSJC points or under) 6 Medium Bronze series Open to horses graded J/O class (95cm) Medium and below (87 DSJC points or under) 7 Open One Round Stakes (1m) 238 2.1 Open to all horse and rider This is a competition against the clock. Athletes with combinations equality of penalties for any place will be placed in accordance with the time taken to complete the round. 8 Open Silver series 238 2.2 Open to all horse and rider This is a competition against the clock, but in the event combinations J/O class (1.05m) of equality of penalties for first place, there will be one jump-off against the clock. Other athletes are placed 9 EA Gold Series according to their penalties and time in the first round. Horses must hold a current EA registration and riders J/O class (1.10m) must be an EA competitive member

A late entry fee of $10 per class will apply, in addition to any other fees required. No late entry will be accepted for a class where that class has already commenced. LEADER BOARDS Finch Farm ‘Masters’ Clear Round Classic Riders aged 40+ can gain points towards the Finch Farm Masters Clear Round Classic at this event. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Maximum classes: Horses may be entered in a maximum of 3 classes. Changes: The organising committee reserves the right to cancel or make alterations to any of the events on the day of competition. The organising committee reserves the right to make alterations to the prizes and prize money prior to the competition. Draw: The draw will be posted on the board in the warm up area. All riders are required to read the draw and be ready to enter the ring when it’s their turn. Riders are asked to follow the nominated draw for each event. If you are ready and warmed up, it is permissible to ride early in the draw provided those competitors before you on the draw are agreeable. (ie: show courtesy and just ask if they mind if you go earlier). However, you MUST follow the draw for ALL Jump off rounds. Grading: Horses entered in a class lower than their current grade will automatically be placed on the draw as HC. HC: Horses competing “Hors Concours” (HC) are allowed to compete subsequently for prizes on that day at that event in the same ring. Riders wishing to participate HC in the EA class must hold relevant membership & registration. Dress: Dress regulations in accordance with the EA Jumping rules will apply. In addition to these rules, the following dress regulations will apply for this particular event: Jackets are optional If no jacket is worn, shirts must not be sleeveless If the shirt is long sleeved, the sleeves must be rolled down and buttoned. Riders must wear a shirt with a collar to support a tie or ratcatcher. The tie or ratcatcher must be worn. Polo shirts are not accepted. Jodhpurs or breeches must be white, beige, light beige or similar in colour. Coloured jodhpurs will not be allowed (ie: blue, black, purple, patterned etc.) Riders are required to be appropriately dressed, as above, whilst walking the course as well as whilst competing. Rules: All events are run under FEI, EA and DSJC rules. It is the sole responsibility of entrants to ensure they are aware of all relevant rules in accordance with the Article numbers listed for each class in the schedule. The organising committee will not be responsible for any errors in any printed rules within this program.
