NAME OF THE EVENT: CASE STUDY COMPETITION
OBJECTIVE OF THE EVENT: To provide a platform for the students to exhibit their
analytical skills.
OUTCOME OF THE EVENT: At the end of the competition, the students were able to
apply their analytical skills and compete with each other.

RULES OF COMPETITION:
1. Join the meeting on Microsoft Teams on time.
2. A case will be given for analysis.
3. The participants will be divided into teams of 4 members each and each team will be
given a virtual room for discussion of the given study. Based on the discussion a
report has to be made.
4. The teams should send the report before the given time.
5. Camera should be turned on.
6. Every team will be monitored.

TARGET AUDIENCE: College Students
A BRIEF REPORT:
The case study competition was a team based competition. The participants were divided into
teams (4 members in each team). Each team was given a case study to analyse. All the
participants were given proper instructions about the competition and how to go about it. A
demo was also given to them. The case study given was related to Management Accounting
aspects of a particular organization. Every team was given a virtual room in the Microsoft
Teams Tool to discuss the case study and each virtual room was monitored and also the
students were asked to keep their cameras turned on. Every team was supposed to carefully
go through the case study and make a descriptive and exploratory analysis on the case study
and mail it to the given mail id within the given time limit. Based on the analysis the teams
were judged and winners were declared. The students were very happy to participate in this
competition.
