Family-Style Service Family-style dinner service is a great option for those who wish to create a more convivial and engaging dining experience for their guests. In this style of service, guests are either seated at long harvest tables or at individual round tables. Instead of guests being served each course individually as with Plated Service or having to wait in a line to serve themselves as with Buffet Service, with a Family-Style Service our servers will bring a variety of platters and bowls filled with the evening’s menu directly to the table. Guests will then be able to help themselves and pass the dishes to one another throughout service. This is a popular choice for many groups as it allows the guests to engage in conversation throughout dinner service as though they’re eating at home with friends and family. Buffet Service One of the most familiar styles of service for larger events is Buffet Service. In this style, tables are called up to the buffet one or two tables at a time and all of the food is laid out on long tables for guests to serve themselves. Guests then return to their seats to eat as a table. There are typically the most variety of options available to a guest in buffet service. This style of service is especially popular because it is easier to adjust the seating style in the room and also convenient to add Animation Stations to really create a unique meal for the guests. Hybrid-Plated Dinner Service This is a hybrid style of dinner service that combines the traditional style of Plated Service with the communal style of Family-Style service. The first course of dinner is brought to the table as a platter or bowl for guests to help themselves and get a chance to chat with their friends and family without having to wait very long to begin eating. The subsequent courses then follow the typical Plated Dinner style and are served individually to guests one course at a time. The guests may be able to pre-choose between a couple of different dinner options depending on the package that has been chosen for them. This style works very well for guests who prefer a traditional style of dinner service but also enjoy the idea of being able to provide a more casual start to dinner service for their guests and get them eating more quickly. Plated Dinner Service This is the most traditional style of dinner service for larger groups and formal affairs. In this style, guests are invited to sit at their tables and the pre-chosen multi-course meal is then served individually to guests one course at a time. The guests may be able to pre-choose between a couple of different dinner options depending on the package that has been chosen for them, but for the most part, it is a very structured meal that takes longer to complete than other styles. Beverage Menus Everyone’s event is different and some focus more on alcohol than others – for this reason, we are pleased to include an average of one glass of table wine for each guest included in our Holiday packages. We offer customizable bar packages based on our guest’s individual preferences. Below you will find some of the more common packages that guests request from us – but if you would like something different, please do not hesitate to let us know! We will work with you to adjust our packages to make your event exactly as you’d like it. Bubbly Toast Want to give your guests a delicious glass of Sparkling Wine, Prosecco, or Champagne to toast your year before dinner? Host-Cocktail Hour Only Offer your guests a Host Bar for your pre-determined cocktail reception.
