Graduation Requirements What You Need to Graduate: A minimum of 80 credits (4 credits = one course) 48 credits are from required courses 28 credits are from elective courses 4 credits Career Life Connections 12 4 credits of ADST or Fine Arts in Gr. 10, 11 or 12 3 Numeracy Assessment

Career Life Connections 12 CLC 12 focuses on applying personal career-life management knowledge, skills, and strategies to one’s own personal life journey: • engaging in an experiential learning opportunity of 30 hours or more to explore career-life possibilities (such as volunteerism, employment, fieldwork projects). • using self-advocacy and employment marketing strategies, including creating one’s own effective public profile (i.e. myBlueprint). • designing, assembling, and presenting a capstone to an audience, in celebrating their learning journey.5

Student Transcripts Service Student Transcripts Service (STS) is an online application for students to view their school marks, transcripts, scholarships and send transcripts electronically to post secondary institutions and employers. Go to the Ministry of Education’s Transcripts and Certificates website at: http://www.StudentTranscripts.gov.bc.ca 8

Tips for Scholarship and Bursary Applications 1. Read the applications carefully each scholarship has unique requirements, deadlines and specific criteria. It is important that you do exactly what the instructions say and provide the documentation required. 2. DO NOT miss the deadlines. 3.Proofread your application. 4. Give teachers and counsellors at least 3 weeks to complete your Reference letters. 12
