Message from Mr. French
Hello Folks! We made it! It was quite the journey and it feels great to be
at the end. We are so excited to get to celebrate with our grads in person
tomorrow night. Although it would have been great to allow everyone to
attend, we are grateful to be able to celebrate the accomplishments of
our grads, even in a smaller way. The graduation will be posted in the
beginning of July.
If you did not get the chance on Friday to watch our end of the year
virtual assembly, I encourage you to do so. Alison can send you the link if
you need it. Thank you to our staff and students who took the time to
submit their videos and a special thank you to Mr. Price for putting it all
together.
Lastly, I want to thank Mrs. Kaldeway and Mrs. Repar for their years of service here at QC. Pauline's
smiling face, warm personality and wealth of knowledge will be greatly missed. The Learning
Commons will not be the same without her but I know that she is following God's plans for her. The
cafeteria will also be very different without Arlene's smile, warmth and delicious food. We were truly
blessed having both of these women at Quinte Christian.
Have a wonderful summer! I look forward to seeing you all in September.

Office Hours Changed
The office hours will be from 8:30am until 1pm until June 25, 2021. The office will reopen on August 23,
2021.

Locker Clean out Day
                                   On Monday, June 21, we are inviting all students to come to the
                                   school to clean out their locker, hand in their textbooks, instruments,
                                   art supplies, jerseys, etc. and buy a yearbook! We ask that Juniors
                                   come in the morning and seniors in the afternoon. If other
                                   arrangements need to be made, please contact Alison at
                                   admin@qchs.ca. Please note that anything left in the lockers will be
                                   thrown out or donated.
                                   *Only grade 12 students need to return their school chrome books

Yearbooks!
The yearbooks are in! If you didn't watch Friday's devotions, please do as
you'll be able to watch Mr. Hutchinson's yearbook promotion. The
yearbook looks absolutely amazing and I highly encourage each student
to buy one. They are only $20 each. You can stop in at the school at any
time during office hours to pick one up or wait until the 21st on locker
clean out day.

                                   Census
                                        You may have heard that the 2021 Census is underway. It has
                                        been a challenging year for families, and the census might seem
                                        like another thing on your busy to-do list. However, I would like
                                        to encourage you to complete your census, if you haven’t
                                        already done so. Census data helps governments at all levels
                                        plan for schools, transportation, community centres, libraries
                                        and recreational activities. Data from the 2021 Census will be
                                        even more crucial, because it will help to evaluate the impact of
                                        the pandemic and to better plan for the future. You can quickly
                                        and easily complete your census questionnaire at
                                        www.census.gc.ca using the access code you received in the
                                        mail. If you need assistance, or would like to have a paper (or
                                        alternate format) questionnaire, please call the Census Help
                                        Line at 1-855-340-2021. Thank you for doing your part to help
                                        plan for a better future for all Canadians.”

Tuition for 2021-2022
The proposed budget was approved making tuition for the 2021-2022
school year $15,500.00. We are not longer issuing tuition payment
agreements, your payment will continue in the same manner as this year
(ie. direct withdrawal, monthly cheques, etc.). If this will not work for
you, please contact Christy Wryghte - finance@qchs.ca
Payment options are as follows:

EARLY PAYMENT DISCOUNT

Pay in full by July 15, 2021 and receive 2020-2021 tuition rate of $15,250

PARENTS WITH CHILDREN AT QC ONLY (with no children in Christian Elementary School)
    One payment of $15,500 payable by October 31, 2021
    Two payments of $7,750, payable by September 2021 and January 2022
    Ten payments of $1,550 payable September 2021 to June 2022
    Twelve payments of $1,291.67 payable August 2021 to July 2022

PARENTS WITH CHILDREN IN CHRISTIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL can receive a 10% tuition
assistance
    One payment of $13,950 payable by October 31, 20201
    Two payments of $6,975 payable September 2021 and January 2022
    Ten payments of $1,395 payable September 2021 to June 2022
    Twelve payments of $1,162.50 payable August 2021 to July 2022

                                  Golf Tournament Date Change
                                  Please take note that due to provincial restrictions the golf
                                  tournament will now take place on July 10, 2021.

                                 Cafeteria Position
                                 We hate to say good-bye to Mrs. Repar but alas, she is wanting to go
                                 a different way. If you know of anyone who would be interested in
                                 running the cafeteria in September, please have them email Alison -
                                 admin@qchs.ca

                              Middle School Application

 There are a few spaces available for our grade 7/8 class here at QC. If you have questions, please
                                   contact Alison at admin@qchs.ca

                                 Uniform Sale                                     www.signupgenius.com

                            QCHS is having an inventory sale! Since we have moved all uniform ordering
                            to online directly with McCarthy's, we have no need to keep an extensive
                            inventory. Items are organized with Unisex first, followed by Women's and
                            then Men's. You can pay by etransfer (finance@qchs.ca) as well as cash,
                            cheque or debit at the school. Currently all items would be available for
                            curbside pick up only. If you have any questions, please email Alison at
