HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? -‐In most cases contracts are set up on the following basis: Guaranteed Minimum (only half due at contract signing) vs. Percentage of Gross Sales, whichever is greater -‐Contracts are negoOable based on a few factors: Market, number of showings, Ocket price, seaOng capacity, etc -‐Things to answer before asking for a price quote: -‐How many seats do I think I can fill? (Average first year afendance: 350) -‐What is the appropriate venue to host my event? (bigger seaOng capacity=higher rent) -‐High School Auditorium, Movie Theater, Stage Theatre, Film FesOval, etc -‐How many shows am I going to host? (at one locaOon or mulOple locaOons) -‐What am I using the show for? (fundraiser, charity event, profit, private event) -‐How much do I think I can/should charge? -‐depending on show value, Ocket prices range from $5-‐25 -‐add value to your show with sponsor offers, giveaways, etc -‐rent/seaOng capacity should dictate how much you charge -‐ex. $5 Ockets in a venue with 100 seats and $500 rent doesn’t make sense *WME reserves the right to negoOate contracts on individual basis. The outline above is a general guide for new I.P.s to gauge how much a show might cost them.
