2020 Racer Contingency Program Date: January 14, 2020 To: All Nissan Motorsports Competitors Subject: 2020 Nissan Motorsports Racer Support Program Enclosed in this packet is information that is required to enroll in the 2020 Nissan Motorsports Racer Contingency Award Program. Any team or driver competing in an eligible Nissan vehicle can sign up for this program. Additionally, if you are competing in select race series or events, you may be eligible for contingency award payouts (see attached program rules). The program offers not only award payouts for top podium finishes but, also, advantages when purchasing parts. The following pages describe the registration process, enrollment guidelines, parts purchasing program guidelines, contact information, forms necessary to complete the registration/payout process, listings of eligible race series/events for contingency payout, and visual identity requirements. 2020 Racer Contingency Program
To be eligible for the 2020 Nissan Contingency Program, the following
guidelines must be adhered to and compliant with all applicable competition
rules and regulations in effect at the time of the event.
Visual Identity Requirements
Towards the back of this packet, please see the Visual Identity Guidelines
that must be followed. To summarize:
Each competitor must display the official, current NISSAN/NISMO die-
cut logos as supplied by Nissan Motorsports. Logos are either black,
white or red. These colors are the only approved colors for
competitors.
NISSAN/NISMO double stack logo, or either logo after cutting, must
be prominently shown on the front bumper/spoiler/air-dam, the
leading edge of the hood, or the top of the hood.
NISSAN/NISMO double stack logo or either logo after cutting, must
appear on the front/rear fenders, doors, or mirrors if the vehicle is
equipped.
Please see the registration form to request die-cut logos from Nissan
Motorsports. These logos may be cut to fit.
Usage of old logos and slogans, such as, but not limited to, ‘Datsun’
or “Enjoy the Ride” are not approved under this contingency program.
Driving suits must display the NISSAN wordmark logo on the upper
chest area. Nissan Motorsports can supply patches with the
NISSAN/NISMO double stack logo or custom embroidery is allowed.
Size and font must meet the Visual Identity guidelines.
Logo requirements will be enforced.
It is important that all registered Nissan racers adhere to the
visual identity guidelines in order to meet the 2020
Contingency Program guidelines and be eligible for payout.Registration for the 2020 Contingency Program
Registration steps for the 2020 Nissan Contingency Program:
1. Complete/sign the attached 2020 Registration Form.
2. Complete the “Optional for Parts Order Service” Form.
3. Complete/sign the attached “Consent to Limited Use of Name, Logo,
and Trademark” Form.
4. Scan/Email all forms to sandra.vernich2@nissan-usa.com.
5. Or, you can mail all forms to:

Each new calendar year (January – December) requires racers to
complete, sign, and return all forms to be eligible for enrollment in
the Nissan Contingency Program. Where possible, enrollment must
be approved before the date of the event you are competing in.
Payout will not be approved if you are not enrolled prior to
competing in an eligible event.Award Claim Process
To receive contingency award payout, the attached Award Claim form must
be completed.
1. Complete/sign the Award Claim form.
2. Provide a clear copy of the official race results.
3. Provide a photo of your vehicle showing the current logos.
4. Submit the Award Claim form, along with race results and photo no
later than 30 days following the event just completed.
***Falsifying information is grounds for disqualification from the
2020 Contingency Program.
Additional Information - 2020 Contingency Program
If award payout is to be paid to someone other than the driver, both
the driver and the claim recipient must be current registrants in the
Nissan Contingency Program.
Contingency payout will not be awarded to participants who fail to
finish an event. Contingency awards are based on finishing positions
only.
Any competitor disqualified at an event will forfeit any contingency
award earned for an event.
An award payout will be a check.Parts Program for Approved Nissan Racers A great benefit of the 2020 Nissan Contingency Program is what/how OEM/NISMO parts can be purchased. Special parts pricing is available for approved racers and all OEM/NISMO parts can be ordered directly from Nissan Motorsports. Once approved, you can call or email Nissan Motorsports directly and receive price quotes on your required parts. To streamline the parts ordering process, racers can place your credit card information on file with Nissan Motorsports. Your card will be charged at the time the order is processed. If you would like to do this, please call Nissan Motorsports at 1-888-833-3225 and speak to Sandra Vernich or Bryana Manning, or you can email us at nmc.race@nissan-usa.com. This program benefit requires conformance of all 2020 Nissan Contingency Program guidelines which includes display of all current NISSAN and NISMO logos on the vehicle and race suit. Parts purchased through the program are not for resale and intended for the sole use of Nissan racers for their race and support vehicles.
Ordering Parts
1. Visit https://parts.nissanusa.com. Input the VIN, and you can begin
your search for the part number.
2. Once the part number is determined, call Nissan Motorsports at
1-888-833-3225 or email us at nmc.race@nissan-usa.com and
speak to any Motorsports representative. Identify yourself as a
registered racer. We will then confirm if you are registered and
approved. You can also email us.
3. If not currently approved, you will not be provided any information
since this program is strictly a benefit of the contingency program
for our racers.
4. If confirmed that you are an approved/registered racer, pricing and
availability information will be provided.
5. Purchasing a part will require payment by credit card. As stated
above, you may leave your credit card on file for future purchases
and to streamline the purchase process. ***Nissan Motorsports
is PCI Compliant. We are not able to accept credit card
information via email.
6. If necessary, you can email your order request/question to
nmc.race@nissan-usa.com. A Nissan Motorsport representative will
reply as soon as possible.
Billing for Parts Purchases
Open accounts, COD, checks, or wire transfers are not accepted. Only
credit cards are allowed for payment. The credit cards accepted are
Visa, MC, AMEX, or Discover. Credit cards must be current and validated for
all purchases. Billing is processed when the order is placed.
Returns
Returns are accepted if a manufacturer defect in material or workmanship is
determined. Please call Nissan Motorsports prior to any return attempt. If

and any photographs (digital, motion, still or videotape) and voice
recordings of me taken during the 2020-2021 racing event(s), for
purposes of publicity, advertising and sales promotion in any media
throughout the world. I will not receive compensation as a result of any
use of my name or likeness.
I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished materials or the use
to which they may be applied. I release Nissan North America, Inc. and
its affiliates, agents and assignees, from any liability arising from any use
of my name, likeness, photograph or voice in accordance with the terms
hereof.

Contingency Awards Program
AWARD CLAIM
This claim form is used to receive payment for contingency awards. To
receive payment, a clear copy of the official event results and a
current 2020 photo of the vehicle with PROPER logos must be
attached. Photo is required one time only when you apply for your first
race win. Claim information MUST match W-9 information.
