4 raw bite Installation 2022 ceramics, elderberry, chicken, nylon cord, various animals various dimensions It is said that the elderberry is a plant that chooses its own location. If it grows in your garden, it will bring you luck as long as it is well cared for and not cut. In Vicosoprano every house, barn or shed has one in front of the house, they know it. Raw bite are plants planted by me of the location. Birds are supposed to eat the berries, at the same time the droppings turn from black, blue, red and white. So does the coloration on the pots and soon all around. raw bite, installation detail, Biennale Bregagia, Vicosoprano, 2022

Objects that provide landing areas for birds of prey and hiding places for mice are installed in the different rooms of the museum. Some above the room or below which provide hiding places. Farmers place similar landing pads in their fields so that their land can be hunted by birds of prey and de-moused. The ceramic shingles remind of mouse traces, mouse droppings, bird bones or feathers. Objects reminiscent of fields from a bird›s eye view. The wood was coated with fence paint. bijö-biwitt, installation view, Bündner Kunstmuseum, Chur, 2021

20 schak-schak wiek/djak-djak gih Installtion 2021 roof structure, ceramics, wood, spe- cial fence paint, song thrush, various animals, seeds, gras and flowers 360 x 460 x 250 cm I saw something fluttering on the roof when I looked back. schak-schak wiek/djak-djak gih might call a song thrush when I step into their front yard. This is where human habitation ends, but the forest has not yet begun. If I don´t see them, I am probably too close. The titel is the sound the song thrushes make during nesting. schak-schak wiek is how German-speaking people translate the sound. djak-djak gih is how French-speaking people translate it. The grass was not allowed to be cut during the months around the installa- tion. schak-schak wiek/djak-djak gih, installation view, Art en plein air, Môtiers, 2021

This work shows the same materials, woods as in the newer works. pick-bi-brick inn is the first roof. For the Insect Club exhibition at Zurich´s Saint Luke art space (an art space open to the street through a large window, which can be viewed from outside 24/7), Minnig collected various graphic patterns used on insect traps to attract insects. These are optical illusions: The insects believe they are cavities into which they can fly. For the work, the patterns were sprayed in colors highly attractive to insects on agricultural insect nets. The light of the room was replaced by a UV lamp, which also attracts insects. Minnig also recorded a human buzzing concert for the insects, which was audible to viewers of the work on the street only through a hole in the exterior wall. This opening also served as the insects entrance to the club. On the illuminated sign of the art space, which was made to flicker for this exhibition, Minnig installed an insect hotel. The title is the name of the dog food from the bitch. The used wood and objects were collected on common excursions. Materials, which were used for other purposes and had formed something, but then were left somewhere. Protective nets that signal separations or secure something that is more precious than something else. Everything in its own order and sorted. Color choice and exhibition height of the objects are adapted to Gambas sensory spectrum. By means of a reduced language of forms and based on subjective sensa- tions, an attempt is made to break up habitual relations and to perform different forms of encounter. The visitors behavior is thus influenced and conventional balances of power are turned upside down in a way that can be experienced. adult/sensitiv, installation view, Schutznetz Blau, Treppe Gamba, Kunst Halle St.Gallen, 2020

44 deli chews Skulptur 2020 quantity variable rainbow colored dog poop bag, spray paint, ceramic BASED ON A TRUE STORY is curated by Cassidy Toner´s dog Boh. Deli chews references, as does adult/sensitive, Gamba´s favorite snack. The colorful, brown ceramic-filled poop bags are scattered throughout the gar- den. They are produced on site and the contents take the shape of the environment. Some bags are labeled with other names such as Schweizer Lecky, senior/light, Romeo Stick, Harmony, Duck XXL or Soft-Hearties. All names can be read on dog food packages. Dogs mark their space with feces or urine. By means of the smell, peers can recognize how the dog or bitch is doing, stress levels, fears, age as well as sexual maturity are written down, so to speak. That which we have to digest or process on a daily basis. When these markings are removed, a basic social behavior is taken away from the dogs. deli chews, installation view, city Salts, Birsfelden, 2020
