FEE REDUCTIONS,
DEFERRED PAYMENTS AND LOANS
a.y. 2020 - 2021
Istituto Secoli provides for the provision of various economic benefits (fee reductions, deferred payments and
loans) to be allocated to its students in order to facilitate participation in the lessons. These facilities are
applicable to the tuition fee only, while the enrolment fee is always to be paid in full to confirm the
reservation of a place in a course.
• FEE REDUCTIONS
Based on the fulfilment of requirements described for the different categories of students (alumni, employees,
family members, etc.), the new candidates can request and obtain, subject to approval by the Institute Direction,
the following reductions:
1) Reductions of 10% on the tuition fee of the course (for a maximum value of € 1.000,00) for:
- Former students;
- Sons of former students or relatives up to the second degree;
- Members of the same family (relatives up to the third degree) who enrol in one of the courses of the
Istituto Secoli in the same academic year;
- Companies that simultaneously enrol more than one employee on the same course. In these cases the
registration, as well as the payment of the course, must be received directly by the company. The
discount is applied to the tuition fee of each student.
There are no discounts or benefits on the fees of short refresher courses designed specifically for former
students of the Institute.
2) Reductions of the summer / introductory / foundation course enrolment fee for students who, after
attending one or more summer / introductory courses, continue their studies by enrolling in an academic course
(annual, biennial or three-year). In this case the discount applies to each summer / introductory course attended
up to a maximum cumulative value of € 1.000,00.
3) Reductions of 25% on the tuition fee for family members of the Institute's employees up to the second degree
of kinship.
4) Reductions of 50% on the tuition fee for students who, within 3 (three) years from the end of the lessons,
ask to repeat a course or an annuity.
This reduction is applicable only if the course or annuity to be repeated is exactly the same for which the
former student has previously paid the tuition fees, both in terms of frequency, specialization and duration. In
these cases it is also specified that inclusion in the class is not guaranteed and is only possible in the
presence of available seats. If you want to reserve your seat in the classroom you must pay the full amount of
the fee, except for the discount reserved for former students (10%) as reported in point nr. 1.
The KINSHIP to be considered valid for the presentation of the fee reduction request are those indicated in the
Italian Civil Code art. 74/76 and below exemplified:
FIRST GRADE: spouses; parents and sons
SECOND GRADE: grandparents and grandsons (sons of sons); brothers
THIRD GRADE: great-grandparents and great-grandchildren (sons of the nephews); grandchildren (sons of brothers)
and uncles
All interested parties who meet the requirements can apply for the fee reduction by filling in the dedicated
section on the proforma application form (see attachment "MOD7505 - Pro-Forma Application Form").
The request for facilitation must be presented together with the submission of the registration documentation
(see list of documents on the brochure of the chosen course) through:
- online registration procedure directly on the website www.secoli.com (digital format)
- email by writing to admissions@secoli.com (digital format)
- by hand in a sealed envelope to be delivered personally to the Secretariat (paper format)
- by post or courier with tracking service and return receipt (paper format) at Viale Vittorio Veneto 18 / A

It is specified that the facilitation is applicable only on the tuition fee of the selected course. In the case
of multi-year courses (two-year and three-year courses), the fee reduction may be required only for the first
year of the course.
The allocation of the reduction is communicated together with the result of the admission process and is defined
by the Direction of the Istituto Secoli after a careful and accurate assessment of the application received. If
the candidate meets the requirements of more than one category, the Direction will have the possibility of
agreeing or not to the accumulation of more reductions and alternatively choose the best facilitation for the
student.
The direction’s judgment is to be considered definitive and unquestionable.
• DEFERRED PAYMENTS
In support of all students residing in Italy, it is offered the possibility of requesting the deferred payment
of the course tuition fee into a maximum of nr. 3 (three) consecutive monthly instalments, without interest and
with total balance within the third month of the lesson.
This facilitation is only applicable to the payment of the tuition fee (the enrolment fee must be paid in full
within the terms indicated on the admission letter) and can be requested for any course with a total duration of
more than 6 (six) months.
Interested parties can apply for payment by instalment through the completion of the "MOD7508 – Request form for
Payment by Instalments " attached below.
All applications for deferred payments of tuition fees for the 2021-2022 academic year courses must be sent duly
completed by e-mail to the registration office (admissions@secoli.com) within 30 days before the beginning of
the lessons.
• LOANS
Istituto Secoli, in partnership with Deutsche Bank, provides students residing in Italy with an advantageous
credit formula, which allows for the extension of the annual tuition fee from a minimum of 6 (six) to a maximum
of 10 (ten) constant monthly instalments, with a facilitated interest rate (variable “TAN” and “TAEG”).
The German group has been working in Italy for over 40 years and shares with the Istituto Secoli the social
objective of supporting and encouraging training. Precisely for this purpose, an ad hoc subsidized financing
agreement was signed between the parties that allows the students enrolled in Istituto Secoli to find the
financial resources necessary to develop their skills, enhance their talent and thus create real employment
opportunities.
The request for funding can be made directly by the student enrolled in the course or by a guarantor that meets
the following requirements:
• Italian residency (Italian identity card);
• Permanent employment contract (at least 2 years with the same company), or having worked as a freelancer in
Italy for many years;
• Italian bank account (holder or joint holder).
Those eligible, who are interested in this credit, can request it during the course application or once enrolled
i.e. after the payment of the enrolment fee, and within 30 days before the beginning of the lessons.
To activate the financing, the "MOD7509 - Loan Application Form" attached below has to be sent by email to
admissions@secoli.com duly completed and signed by the applicant, with attachments all the following personal
documents:
• copy of the Tax Code;
• copy of a valid Identity Card (front and back);
• copy of the last pay slip or tax return;
• for non-EU citizens only: copy of residence permit or residence card.
Once all the necessary documentation has been received, the office in charge will forward the request to the
financial institution which, subject to approval, may decide to grant the loan to cover all or part of the
tuition fee. Please note that the enrolment fee is not deferrable and must be paid within the deadlines indicated
on the admission letter received from the student.
