DAY 1 - Wednesday
Your Home International Airport – (Johannesburg) Cape Town.
Depart from your Home International Airport for your flight to Cape Town. This
could be via Johannesburg (OR Tambo International Airport).
Here I suggest you all use the same Travel Agent so that all are on the same
plane.
These Return International Flights are not included in the Tour Cost.

Your Home International Airport – (Johannesburg) Cape Town International Airport.
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport. Met by Dirk Joubert of DJ Tours &
Safaris. I will personally be there as I will be the Guide / Tour Manager for the
duration of the Tour. Will then check you in at your Hotel for the next 5 nights.

Depending on arrival time, we will do Table Mountain this afternoon. It is now
officially one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Cape Town – Arabella Golf and Spa

Today is Round One of the Tour at the well-known Arabella Golf Estate near
Kleinmond.

Morning
The course was designed and built by the highly acclaimed South African golf
course architect Peter Matkovich in 1999. Since then, many professionals and
celebrities have enjoyed the Arabella Golf experience, including Jack Nicklaus,
Samuel L. Jackson, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Ronan Keating, Lee Westwood, Tim
Clark and Gary Player.

Cape Town – Pearl Valley Golf and Spa
Today is Round Two of the Tour - Pearl Valley Golf Course.

As the name implies, our Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course truly
bears the stamp of the world’s leading golf course designer. Golf Digest has
named the course as ‘Best Conditioned’ in the Western Cape from 2010 – 2019.
Since 2006 the course has consistently been placed among the top ten in South
Breakfast / Africa and ranked as the 5th best in the country in 2018/2019 by Golf Digest
Morning magazine. For six consecutive years Complete Golfer bestowed the Five Star
Experience Award on the course.

Oubaai Golf

Today is Round Three of the Tour – Oubaai Golf Club.
Breakfast / The Ernie Els 18-hole Championship Course is kept in mint condition and it is one
Morning of the most beautiful settings that can be seen anywhere in the golfing world. It
was recently awarded 3rd best conditioned course in Southern Cape and 10th in
South Africa. The layout of the course is a traditional links type layout where veld
grasses line the manicured fairways. The course measures 6,516 metres from the
pro tees, which is uniquely long for a coastal course.

Pinnacle Point Golf
Breakfast is at the Hotel.
Today is Round Four of the Tour – Pinnacle Point Golf Course.
Overlooking the Indian Ocean near Mossel Bay and designed by Peter Matkovich
and 2011 Open Champion, Darren Clarke, Pinnacle Point is one of the most

Morning
This Clifftop Fynbos Golf Course inspires the golfer to play this challenging layout
with a level of respect due to its dramatic views and breath-taking terrain. The
72-par layout is characterised by 7 majestic holes that line the Indian Ocean rock
cliffs, four of which are played over ocean and cliff. All 18 holes have been
designed to fit the contours of the land.
Once again, the non-golfers can relax at the clubhouse or visit the Spa.

Simola Golf
Today is Round Five of the Tour – Simola Golf Course.
The 18-hole, par 72 Championship Course designed by the Golden
Bear has many aspects that play in its favour. One of only three
Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses in Africa and the first to be
designed of those three, the course meanders along the impressive
landscape high atop Simola hill. Unique to coastal courses, the wind
is rarely a factor here, while it has often been said that the
incredible views will make it hard to keep your head down.

Pezula Golf
Today is Round Six of the Tour – The amazing Pezula Resort (Golf and Spa).

The spectacular course was designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale of
Golfplan, California. The inspiration for the design is James Braid, legendary
designer of the King's Course at Gleneagles as the site is reminiscent of the
Scottish Highlands, complete with heather-like fynbos.

En Route you could take up the courage and do the highest (216m) Bungi Jump in
the world. This is for own expense and costs around R1 400.

Early breakfast, then transfer to the nearby Port Elizabeth Airport and catch our
08h35 domestic flight to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Please
note the weight limitations of 23 Kg and Golf Bag of no more than 23 Kg. 7 Kg
hand luggage.

“Lowveld”. This is about a 4 - 5-hour drive.

Leopards Creek Golf
Today is Round Seven of the Tour – The World Famous Leopards Creek
Golf Course.
Innovative architectural and landscaping techniques ensure that the
Leopard Creek golf course and living areas are naturally protected from
animals, while lakes and small streams have been diverted through the
development to create scenic vistas and interesting golf strategies.
Golfing hazards take on a new dimension at Leopard Creek, for much of
the water is home to the magnificent creatures for which the river is
Breakfast / named, crocodiles. Extensive use has been made of water features and
Morning sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo and elephant are
commonplace, on the course or in the Kruger Park bordering the course.
The 505-meter par-five 13th is one of Leopard Creek’s most memorable
holes. Here the green is right on the edge of the Crocodile river but 32
meters above the level of the water, offering magnificent views up the
river and into the Kruger Park.
Gary Player is especially proud of the par-five 18th with its island green
and the par-four 9th with its peninsula green jutting out of the same body
of water.

Today is Round Eight of the Tour – The Skukuza Golf Course.
After breakfast, the Golfers depart for The Skukuza Golf Course. This is in the
Kruger Park and is unique in the sense that any animals could cross the fairways
while playing!!

At present, the Rate of Exchange is extremely favourable for the USD, Euro, GBP and the Australian Dollar. Please use www.xe.com to see what the cost is in your currency. Total Tour Cost is R1 060 000. That is based on a minimum of 16 persons Touring. The cost is based on 8 Couples in Double/Twin Rooms. If the composition of the Touring Party is different, I will re-quote. This is further based on a scenario of 8 Golfers and 8 Non-Golfers (Spa Option). If all 16 are Golfers there will be a slight difference in price. This excludes your International Flights. These are for your own arrangement and Cost. Suggest you get one Travel Agent to do all the flights, ensuring that all pax are on the same flight. Fly in to Cape Town and fly back from Johannesburg. This includes all accommodation in 4- and 5-star hotels as per the itinerary. B&B (See websites in the Programme), Luxury Transport with Springbok Atlas, All Entrance Fees and levies, Fully Guided by myself (Registered and accredited Guide), All Golf Fees (Green fees and Carts) as well as a R1000 Spa voucher per person x 7 visits. Malaria: The Kruger Park and Surrounds is in a “Low Risk Malaria Area”. It is your decision whether to take the precautionary medication or not. Please consult your doctor or pharmacy about this. We will be in this area for 7 days / 6 nights. DJ Tours & Safaris takes no responsibility for any person getting Malaria while on this Tour. Transport: This will be in a 28-Seater Luxury Mini – Coach. So, there will be enough room for all the luggage and Golf Clubs. Meals: Full Hotel Breakfasts are included. 1 Lunch at Knysna is included and 6 Dinners at The Kruger Park Lodge are included. The other meals that are not included cost an estimated R400 per person per day. R100 for lunch and R300 for dinner. The 8 Courses that I have picked are (2020 SA Ranking next to them): Arabella – Near Kleinmond. Golf and Spa. Ranking = 10 Pearl Valley – Near Paarl. This is where the South African Open has been played on a few occasions. Golf and Spa. Ranking = 17 Oubaai – Near George. Golf and Spa. Ranking = 38 Pinnacle Point – Mossel Bay. Golf and Spa. Ranking = 25 Pezula – Knysna. Golf and Spa. Ranking = 18 Simola – Knysna. Golf and Spa. Ranking = 19 Leopards Creek – Kruger National Park. Golf and Spa. Ranking = 3 Skukuza Golf Course in the Kruger National Park. Just Golf. No Ranking, just unique! You could request that we change these above Golf Courses. BUT I know these will be some of the very best in South Africa! Non-Golfers: What you so on the Golf days will be discussed and implemented. For example, when in Cape Town, you might prefer to stay behind and explore The Waterfront, but you will each get a R1000 Voucher per “Golf Day” to treat yourself at the Spa’s at these Golf Resorts and Spa’s. You could also just choose to relax around the pool at these 4 and 5 * Hotels. Dates: The dates will be as follows (Always fly on a Wednesday to land in Cape Town on a Thursday, Fly back from Johannesburg on a Monday afternoon/evening to land back in your Country on a Tuesday): These dates can be anytime from February until middle of May. Or then from middle of September until end of November. Middle of May until middle of September is winter and most of the area, we will be Touring has a Winter Rainfall.
