Trinity Acres Property Management Trinity Acres please join me in welcoming the newest member of our family…..Property Manager, Nikyta Triplett– Williams!! Hello, I would like to take this time to introduce myself. I am Nikyta Triplett- Williams, born and raised in Chicago. I attended Illinois State University for undergrad and then went on to earn a degree in English Communications Prelaw. While attending undergraduate classes I was granted the opportunity to join a workforce initiative for CHA low-income residents. That is where I earned a career in real estate. I have been in real estate for 11 years now and truly love what I do. Those 11 years has given me the opportunity to gain knowledge in many aspects of real estate and property management. With my former employer I managed properties that received many different sources of subsidies as well as funding. I am also a real estate broker. I take great pride in assuring that my clients/residents are satisfied by providing the best possible experiences. I enjoy many things but I love to read, journal, meditate, sew, and provide counsel to those around me. I am excited to meet and learn each and everyone of you. I hope to create a respectful tenant-landlord relationship with both residents and co-workers alike. Wednesday, Sept. 1st 10am in the Social Rm
Home-maker Do’s & Don’ts What you should know about the services you’re receiving…. Homemaking services for older adults are widely recognized as valued services that assist individuals with difficulty performing activities of daily living to live independently. Homemaking consists of general household activities (meal preparation and routine household care) to maintain an adequate living environment that is provided by a trained homemaker, when the individual regularly responsible for these activities is temporarily absent or unable to manage the home and care for him or herself or others in the home. Allowable homemaking tasks are limited to: • Light Housekeeping (laundry, ironing) • Meal preparation • Shopping for necessities, including groceries and errand running • Social/emotional support offered in conjunction with the performance of tasks • Observing, reporting and recording any changes in the participant’s home environment and reporting it to the care managers. When receiving services, the following SHOULD NOT take place: • Homemakers are NOT to be left in your unit at anytime if you are not there. This policy is enforced by the State of IL Dept. of Aging as well as their employer. Please comply to keep your services from being interrupted. • Homemakers should not handle your bank cards or credit cards! It’s fine to give them cash to run an errand but remember to ask for a receipt. Please make sure your homemaker knows the rules of your building, as you are responsible for your guests and their behavior while in your building.
