At the top of the agenda of Airport operator Fraport Greece is the extension of Macedonia airport in Thessaloniki in order to meet the growing demand of passenger traffic with a further increase of terminal space by 100,000m2 and aircraft parking positions from 22 to 28. Makedonia Palace marina Designed by the Finish architect, Timo Urala, specialized in floating structures, the plans for the new Makedonia Pace hotel marina where recently revealed, reforming the city’s seafront. The new marina has an anchor shape and will include, among other, an aquarium and a heliport.
A 50 million euro investment project has taking place in Halkidiki, northern Greece, during the winter 2016/2017 period. Sani Resort – Sani Dunes The creation of the new five-star seaside hotel complex Sani Dunes with a capacity of 136 rooms and suites, three restaurants, spa, closed pool and a large open pool within the Sani Resort. Sani Dunes is scheduled to open at the end of June 2017.

Mykonos airport remake Airport operator Fraport Greece unveiled plans for the makeover of Mykonos airport, within the next 4 years. Plans include remodelling and expanding terminal size and areas, expanding the parking area, increasing the number of check-in counters, the number of security lanes and the number of gates. Through the development and upgrade of Mykonos airport’s infrastructure, Mykonos will receive what is missing today: a modern airport, worthy of the island’s reputation.

Corfu airport remake Works are set to get under way by airport operator Fraport Greece at the international airport on Corfu, including an increase in terminal space by 2,700m2 as well as other works for its modernization. According to the plans presented, a new terminal will be constructed increasing the total size of the airport by 24%, while the current terminal will be revamped. Also, in order to improve the quality of services, significant improvements will be implemented, such as increase of gates, security lanes and check in counters.
