focus on learning while enjoying the natural beauty of the Whitsundays. BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort has teamed up with Ocean Rafting
and Whitsunday Training to offer a range of package options, with an educational focus on the Great Barrier Reef.
Ocean Rafting Reef Seeker
Multi award-winning Ocean Rafting offer school groups the opportunity to become a Marine Biologist
for the day with their Reef Seeker educational adventure. With a focus on education, learning and
an interactive question and answer session, this inspiring and hands-on tour is perfect for any reef
enthusiast to get a real taste of being a Marine Biologist and Eco-Warrior for the day!
• A fun, high energy day trip with interpretive talks and epic marine life encounters.
• Small group guided snorkels with tuition and assistance with collecting citizen science data.
• A structured 90 minute snorkel amongst the beautiful fringing reefs of the Whitsunday Islands.
• A comprehensive water safety brief and snorkel tuition, including use of flotation devices.
• An introduction to Eye on the Reef and Rapid Monitoring.
• Educational reef brief on key indicator species and their significance.
• Opportunities to enjoy your own time whilst snorkelling the reef.
• A scenic bush walk to the famous Hill Inlet Lookouts overlooking the swirling white silica sands
