February Sixth 27,of2022 Sunday Easter Stations of the Cross March Food Pantry of the Month Stations of the Cross will be at 5:00 p.m. Peavine Care Center on Friday, March 4th With a volunteer group of over 60, Peavine led by the Knights of Columbus Care provides basic food necessities to followed by a Soup Supper in 100 to 120+ families per WEEK Sheehan Hall most of which is purchased and they rely heavily on direct food donations from Walmart and Kroger and the generosity of the parishioners of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Most of their clients are on food stamps and cannot afford ‘Luxury’ items like shampoo, laundry soap or paper products, which are not covered by food stamps. This is where the donations from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church really make the difference. During the month of March, if possible, please donate these ‘Luxury’ items: shampoo, bath soap, laundry and paper products. March 2nd is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. What a perfect time to make a ‘sacrifice’ by serving the less fortunate. Pray for our Priests Thank you on behalf of Peavine Care Center.
