In the midst of Treasurer the loss, we have experienced the birth of Sandi Blacks grandson, Theodore, Claudette McWilliam's grandchild and the most recent birth of Margie Anderson's precious daughter, Maisie Mae. Curtis Diama The world as we once knew it, has changed. We are all learning to cope with, work with and be a Membership Chair productive part of the change. It isnt easy by any means, but we will come through to the other side better than before. Statistics: 7lb 10oz and 21 1/4 long! Both Mom and Maisie are doing well. Grandma Roxanne Gillespie, Deltarian, and new parents are all so very happy and filled with joy! Hosea Youth Services Gets New Refrigerator By Gael Coyle Kim Meyers, Past President, Eugene Delta Rotary, coordinated the delivery of the commercial Reach-in Refrigerator on Tuesday, December 7. The refrigerator and freezer, not yet delivered, were purchased through a Rotary District Grant. The Grant provided $2000, and Eugene Delta
Rotary paid $2,337.75. Trevor Davies, son of Deltarian Tucker Davies, and others from Davies Moving and Distribution Company delivered and installed the new double door forty-six cubic foot capacity refrigerator. The company hauled away the 2 old residential refrigerators which had broken drawers held together with duct tape. The new refrigerators and freezer will allow for the safe storage of perishable foods, including dinner leftovers provided by volunteer meal groups. Eugene Delta Meal Group and others intentionally make more food than is needed at dinner to help the Hosea staff with hot lunch options. Hosea provides drop-in lunch and dinner services and helps youth pack to-go meals for the weekends when the center is closed. In addition, the new cold storage will decrease the need for continual ferrying of perishable goods from the Mission. December Students of the Month By Gael Coyle Harold Foutz announced our Students of the Month at the club meeting on December 8, 2021. Congratulations to Duncan Yozzo, Marist High School, Kaleigha Borel, Martin Luther King School, and Olivia Santee, Sheldon High School. Harold coordinates with the schools in selecting the honorees each month. Eugene Delta recognizes each selectee with a certificate and $100. The club enjoyed Olivia's and Duncan's brief talk about their school activities and plans for their upcoming year. We wish them all the best.

Staff, guests and volunteers fed 850 people during the feast and CAHOOTS delivered another 500 meals to unhoused people. The heaters arranged in advance were not necessary because it was a beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the mid 50's.
