Welcome to Velaa Private Island, the gem of the Maldives and the ideal place to be
at this joyful time of year. We are sincerely honoured to be your resort of choice.
This festive season, share in the warm holiday spirit on the island and delight
in a wide array of activities that we have specially prepared for you.
Starting on 20 December, we commence the celebrations with Velaa’s 7th Birthday!
This will be followed with a beautiful Christmas and Santa’s arrival on our
pristine shores. Then, prepare to bid farewell to 2020 and step into 2021 with
“The Legend of Shambhala” - a unrivalled New Year’s event across the Indian Ocean.
From all of us at Velaa Private Island Maldives, we wish you a very happy and
