4 The Epistle March 2019 RGPC Kids SUNDAY MORNING RGPC KIDS’ PROGRAMS. Children ages 3 years - 5th grade are invit- ed to join us for Pathways to Worship (3 years – grade 1) or Faithworks (grades 2-5). Crea- tive, age appropriate classes are offered to help children experience God’s love through art, music, drama, mission and worship. Children will actively engage in their own learning and begin to form a solid foundation for spiritual growth. Join us! Is your child registered for Sunday School? Please see your child’s teacher for a registration form. Additional forms are available online or on the counter in the church office This month, our Pathways to Worship children will hear the story, Jesus Visits Mary and Martha. The simplified worship service including music, stories and crafts, will show children that listening to Jesus is always the best choice. Our FaithWorks class will explore the story, Jesus Calms the Sea. Students will participate in a variety of experiences that will help them discover that trusting Jesus during challenging times or a ‘life storm” is what faith is all about. Have you seen our Parenting Christian Kids Newsletter? This wonderful resource includes helpful information about various topics and ways to discuss them with children. It includes a section about the latest media options (books, movies, pod casts games and Apps.) for kids. The summaries and suggestions provided of these media choices are beneficial to helping parents make informed deci- sions. Parenting Christian Kids is available through our RGPC website and Facebook page. Be sure to see our March edition. SAVE THE DATE – JULY 29 – AUGUST 1, 2019 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - This summer we will STAND STRONG FOR GOD! Join us at Kingdom Rock for an EPIC VBS ADVENTURE! WISH LIST In this ever-changing world, the church is doing its best to be mindful of the added safety pre- cautions now needed. Some of our rooms and classrooms for our children and youth up through senior high are currently not equipped with locking doors so we are asking for some assistance. It would cost about $1,200 to purchase and install the proper commercial locks that we need for 6 doors in the church. If you would be willing to help cover some of this cost, we would appreciate it! Please make a check out to "RGPC" with "Door Locks" in the memo line, or you may make an on-line donation through PushPay, select "Other" and type in "Door Locks." Thank you for being a part of the protection of our church family!
