* CALL TO WORSHIP Worship Leader: Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly! People: Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King! Worship Leader: For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. People: Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. Praise the LORD! Psalm 149:1-2, 4-5 * Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus Music and lyrics by Helen H. Lemmel, 1922. 1. O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There’s light for a look at the Savior, And life more abundant and free! REFRAIN Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth Will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace. 2. Through death into life everlasting He passed, and we follow Him there; Over us sin no more hath dominion, For more than conqu’rors we are! REFRAIN 3. His Word shall not fail you, He promised; Believe Him, and all will be well. Then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell! REFRAIN 3
* God Alone Music and lyrics by Dave Moisan & Brooks Ritter 1. When my courage fails And the path is dark, 3. When the waves of life tower over me In you alone I hide. And sorrows drag me down, For your way is good and revives my heart, Even here I know still I can sing; And you will be my guide. You breathe life when none is found. 2. When my pressings faint, CHORUS (X2) Lord I know you hear, Though I can barely speak. TAG And I beg of you, please draw me near, You lift me up out of my despair For I am much too weak. And you take my burdens As yours to bear. (X4) CHORUS For God alone, my soul wait in silence, CHORUS For my hope is from Him, From God alone. * CONFESSION OF SIN Worship Leader: Heavenly Father, you are rich in mercy to all who call out to you. Hear us as we come to you, confessing our sins, and seeking your mercy. People: We have broken your holy laws by our actions, by our words, and by the sinful desires of our hearts. Worship Leader: We confess that by breaking your laws we have not only sinned against you, but also against our families, friends, and neighbors. People: Have mercy on us, Father. By your love and mercy, empower us to walk in the newness of life given to us through our Lord Jesus. Amen. SILENT CONFESSION OF SIN Worship Leader: Lift up your heads, you who have been washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and hear these words of grace. Words of Grace He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to 4 righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. 1 Peter 2:24-25

Step By Step Proverbs 3:1-8 Summer Psalms and Proverbs 1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, 2 for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. 3 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. 7 Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. 8 It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. 6

The Lord’s Supper Minister: The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son, and sent his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast. People: “Go out quickly to the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor and crippled and blind and lame.” Minister: Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.” People: Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God! Adapted from the Parable of the Wedding Feast All who trust Christ for salvation and desire to live for him are invited to participate. If that doesn’t describe you, feel free to sit and reflect on what God may be saying to you through His Word. Please come forward down the center aisle and return to your seat via the side aisles. Select either grape juice (in the clear cups) or wine (in the red cups). Gluten-free wafers are available upon request. After receiving the elements, we return to our seats to partake together. Children who have not yet made a profession of faith are invited to come forward for prayer at a prayer station. If your child is ready to profess their faith, please speak with our pastor or one of the Elders. 8
* Trust and Obey Lyrics by John H. Sammis, 1887. Music Daniel B. Towner, 1887. 1. When we walk with the Lord, In the light of His word, What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey. REFRAIN Trust and obey, For there’s no other way To be happy in Jesus, But to trust and obey. 2 But we never can prove The delights of His love Until all on the altar we lay; For the favor He shows, For the joy He bestows, Are for them who will trust and obey. REFRAIN 3. Then in fellowship sweet We will sit at His feet, Or we’ll walk by His side in the way. What He says we will do, Where He sends we will go; Never fear, only trust and obey. REFRAIN (x2) * Benediction Leader: The peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. People: And also with you. 9
