A 44-hectare estate sitting on undulating hills with endless scenes of natural countryside beauty.
A tranquil place only a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Lagoa and just 5 minutes away from
the Atlantic Ocean. Friendly staff are on hand to show you around our carefully designed events
facilities and answer any queries you may have. The possibilities are infinite and we pride
ourselves on delivering the best service before and on the day of your event.

Your Event
Wedding
The ceremony is perhaps the most meaningful moment of a wedding celebration making the
choice of location a very important decision. In the midst of our fantastic spaces you will find the

Civil Ceremony
If you’re a foreign national and you want to get married in Portugal contact us and we will be
happy to provide you with all information required for organizing a civil ceremony.

Religious Ceremony
We can also help organize religious wedding ceremonies. They can be conducted at Quinta dos
Vales or in one of the nearby churches in the case of a Christian/Catholic ceremony.

Blessing
If you are looking for a symbolic blessing done by a celebrant in the language of your choice then
Quinta dos Vales is again the perfect venue. The blessing can be kept very casual or formal in
character and can include the exchange of vows and rings, music, and much more. With our help
the format of the blessing can be entirely determined by you.

Sculpture Garden
Perhaps one of the most intriguing areas of the estate given its access to centuries-old hand
carved stairs leading down to an ancient well, this immaculately kept garden, with its eye-catching
backdrop of vineyards, is peppered with graceful art and mature trees creating an intimate space
for civil and religious ceremonies, a welcome cocktail, or even musical, literary or artistic
performances.

Tasting room
Seating up to 60 guests, this tastefully decorated indoor space is perfect to host an enjoyable
afternoon wine tasting or a degustation lunch/dinner accompanied by our award-winning wines.
It can also be used in conjunction with the adjoining terrace to form an extended event facility.

Terraço do Picadeiro &
BBQ Area
Our newest event area, which combines
many different aspects of Quinta dos
Vales. The area consists of a “Picadeiro”,
a sand area designated for horse shows,
combined with a terrace. The central
piece of the terrace is a 2-meter diameter
fire pit, with grill capabilities, surrounded
by 4 artistic rusty-iron pavilions with
bamboo roofs, which sits 40-50 people as
well as standing options, with standing
tables installed in the structure. Ideal for
a party or informal get-together.

Adjacent to the Terraço do Picadeiro is
our BBQ area, which is made up of a BBQ
hut as well as a stone-covered table.
The BBQ hut has a coal barbecue, a
wood-powered pizza oven, a counter top
as well as a functional sink.

Panoramic Terrace & Tasting room
With views over a beautiful sculpture set-up and seemingly endless vineyards, this impressive
covered terrace accommodates up to 120 guests seated or up to 300 guests for standing
events. Featured in numerous broadcasted events, this facility creates a stunning atmosphere
when illuminated in the evening and presents the quintessential setting for a wedding
reception, celebration or corporate gathering.
Located adjacent to the Panoramic Terrace is our tastefully decorated Tasting Room. Rented
together this combination allows to either extend the guest list or to provide a set-up area for
service providers.

Cave de Bacchus
Located above a cellar built for aging our award-winning wines, and in close proximity to our
charming animal area, this spacious venue is ideal for large events including wedding receptions
and business functions. Set in a romantic area of the estate overlooking vineyards and
surrounded by original sculpture forms it offers seating for up to 200 guests, easily increased to
320 guests with the use of an elegant marquee.

Whether your event involves a laid-back buffet or a formal dinner, we have designed a wide
variety of menus to suit all occasions. Our in-house caterer can customize all menus including
à la carte, buffet, barbecue, children’s and drinks (please refer to our catering presentation).

At Quinta dos Vales we pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to our guests, therefore we
are happy to arrange any of the following add-on services you may require for your special event.

Flowers, Decorations & Gifts
The theme of your event depends entirely on your personal taste. Our team is prepared to
organize your whole event, make suggestions or simply organize flower arrangements, bouquets,
centre / pieces, table decorations, wedding tokens, novelty gifts, etc, through our trusted partners.

Photography & Video
Your event should be captured in photo and/or film so you can revisit the wonderful memories of
the day at your convenience. We are happy to suggest a few trusted partners who specialize in
different styles of photography and video.

Entertainment & Music
You have your stage, now you need the right ambience. We work with various professional
musicians, DJs, and entertainers to set the right tone for your event.

Make-up & Hair
The host of any event needs to look their best. We are pleased to arrange professional hair and
make-up stylists to make you look and feel amazing.

Add-On Services
Transport
Airport transfers, hotel pick-ups, a vintage car to chauffeur you to your event, anything is possible.

Children
Babysitting services are available if you have small children attending your event. There is also a
playground and animal area on site so the little ones can have fun as well.

Accommodation
We are delighted to offer you and your guests the convenience and comfort of our on-site
accommodation. Six units with a capacity of up to 41 guests are available to you at a
special rate when you host your event at Quinta dos Vales.

Activities
You can complement your event with a great activity programme for your guests either on the
same day or another. Among our suggestions: wine tasting, guided tour of the winery and cellar,
picnic, tennis lesson, yoga class, bicycle ride around the estate, pottery or cork workshop. The
possibilities are endless!
