Principal’s Message
Dear Prideful Pirate Families!
Friday, March 13, 2020, is a day that will forever be etched in our memories as life as we knew it
completely changed on a dime as a result of COVID-19. Let us continue to do our part by actively
practicing social distancing and abiding by the latest recommendations of the Center of Disease
Control (CDC) and the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) as we embark upon this new school
year. The GREAT news is (together) we persevered and ended this school year successfully!
We are anticipating an even STRONGER START to the 2021-22 school year. We truly appreciate
the love, support, understanding, and most of all, the patience you have displayed throughout this
challenging season in our lives as ACM’s still launching ONE TEAM, One Goal, One Mission.
Please visit our district and school’s Web sites for the most up-to-date information as it relates to
the opening of school in the fall. We are looking forward to working together as partners in your

Important Information for Athletes
The Albert Cammon Wellness Center will be administering sports physicals for
FREE! This event will only take place Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 8AM-
3:3PM. Appointments for this event will be made starting August 3, 2021.
Call (985)-308-6101 to schedule your appointment.
St. Charles Hospital will once again offer sports physicals for St. Charles Parish
students. Physicals will be given Saturday, August 14, 2021, at St. Charles
Hospital in Luling. The cost is $15.00 paid by check or cash.
Physicals will be good for the whole 2021-2022 school year. Athletic Physical
Forms are located on the school’s Webpage.
School Uniforms Needed
As the school year ends, and as you clean out clothes that do not fit your children, remember
that our school counselor collects extra uniforms for students who need them. If you have any
ACM school uniforms that you can donate, it would be greatly appreciated. Please bring these
uniform donations to the school office any time this summer.

ACM Spirit Shirt/Sweatshirt
Place Your Orders!
ACM spirit shirts and sweatshirts are no longer available in our
school bookstore. If you are interested in purchasing either of these
items, you must pre-order. Orders must be submitted online or
brought to ACM by Thursday, June 17th to be ready for the
beginning of the school year. In addition, orders will be accepted at
Orientation in August; however, your shirt will not be available until
after the start of school.

Albert Cammon Morning Drop Off/ Tardy Times/ Early Dismissal
Students should be dropped off between 7:40 A.M. and 7:50 A.M. Parents who are
Middle School bringing their children to school must take the side road by the cafeteria. Parents should
enter the school grounds from Pirate Drive. They should make a U-turn in the back of the
Home of the school and then proceed to the cafeteria area to drop students off on the side of the school.
Please remember that the front of the school is reserved for school buses only. Arrival
time on a regular school day is at 7:40 A.M. Arrival time after 7:50 A.M. is considered
tardy, and a parent must sign the student in at the main office after that time.
Early Dismissal Fridays students will be dismissed at 11:55 A.M.
Afternoon Pick Up/ Parking Tips
All parents picking up their children at dismissal must drive down Pirate Drive and make
a U-turn in the back of the school and then proceed to the cafeteria to pick up your child.
Please remember that the front of the school is reserved for buses only. When arriving
after 1:30 P.M. to our campus, park in the St. Rose Elementary rear parking lot. After that
time, our afternoon buses arrive, and you will not be able to leave until after dismissal.
Bus Changes
All bus notes must be given in writing or faxed to 504-468-3873 prior to 1:30 P.M. each
day. All notes should be on a full sheet of paper and include: your child’s full name, grade
level, date of the change with clear instructions, a daytime phone number where you can
be reached, and your signature. We realize that emergencies do arise, but the change must
be in writing. We cannot take any requests over the phone to ensure the safety of your
child.
