LOS POBRES
     Como cristianos, sabemos mucho sobre el testimonio y
el servicio que estamos llamados a prestar a los pobres entre
nosotros. Sin embargo, los pobres también tienen un
testimonio y un servicio que prestarnos. Al igual que las
acciones de la viuda en el Evangelio de hoy, la apertura y la
generosidad de muchos de los que son pobres, aun en medio
de su propia pobreza, dan testimonio del hecho de que, en
definitiva, podemos depender solo de Dios. Si damos todo
es un testimonio de que Dios dará todo a cualquier persona
que confíe en la bondad divina.
     Los pobres o desfavorecidos también prestan servicios.
Pasan juicio a nuestra manera individual y corporativa de
actuar. Si personas que están durmiendo en la calle, eso es
un juicio sobre las prioridades respecto a los demás. Al
mismo tiempo, los pobres pueden actuar como mediadores
de la salvación. Cuando cuidan a los demás pueden redimir
nuestra indiferencia e insensibilidad, llevarnos a ser
cuidadosos también, y a salvarnos de nosotros mismos.

FIESTA DE LA FE
La Eucaristía es nuestro banquete
     La Eucaristía es una celebración de hermanos y
hermanas a la que se acude a participar, no a ver. Vamos
a ella a comer y a beber algo muy especial, con una
actitud muy especial. La celebración plena y total de este
sacramento se da solamente cuando se participa plena y
totalmente en este banquete. No es como quien va a una
fiesta de cumpleaños y, al invitarle a pasar a la mesa
dice: “Yo sólo vine a ver, muchas gracias”. Pero la
Eucaristía no es algo mágico, es divina, no mágica; no
obra en nosotros a menos de que participemos en ella
como se espera que lo hagamos. Vamos a ella no a
manifestar lo que no somos, sino a reafirmar lo que
somos, hijos e hijas de Dios, por eso es banquete gozoso.
Vamos a dar gracias por lo que Dios ha hecho en
nosotros, por lo que queremos que haga. Vamos a
sentarnos a la mesa para compartir de un mismo pan y
celebrar la misma alegría: que Cristo se hace pan para
que todos comamos; que se hace vino para que todos
bebamos. Coman y beban.

Apertura del libro de Misas del 2022
El Libro de Misas para 2022 se abrirá al público a partir
del 15 de noviembre, en la oficina parroquial de 9:30
a.m. a 3:30 p.m. Si desea reservar una misa para una
intención especial, o para un difunto debe reservarla
ahora No se aceptará reservaciones por correo
electrónico o teléfono durante el mes de noviembre.
La ofrenda para una misa será de $15.00, durante la
semana y $25.00 los fines de semana.
Le pedimos que tenga sus nombres y fechas preparadas
en una hoja de papel cuando venga a reservar una misa.
