Lifestyle Activities Page The Lifestyle team and residents have been busy. To start the year off residents celebrated Australia Day with a BBQ, cooked by the volunteers and lifestyle staff. In January we also celebrated Elvis Presley’s Birthday with a karaoke afternoon singing some of his songs, and we were privileged to have Elvis impersonator himself Mr Chris Yuen preform for us. February has seen residents celebrate St Valentine’s Day with a High Tea, and residents decorated hearts in craft. Also in February we celebrated Chinese New Year with a themed happy hour. Residents help make 5 paper dragon posters to put around the facility. In March we will be celebrating St Patrick’s Day. We also are looking forward to the KWM band performing for us. We are celebrating Easter late in March with a visit from the Easter Bunny. Also in March we will be having a visit from ARAS the Aged Rights Advocacy Service who will be giving a talk to residents and also to staff. March also sees the start of the AFL football season, so Robyn will again be running a residents football i tipping competition for the 2021 season. If residents wish to join please see Robyn or Dawn to have your name added to the list. April will see residents and staff celebrate Anzac day with an in house service.
