Day 1 - 2: Latitude 13, Lilongwe Welcome to Malawi! Upon arrival at Lilongwe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Malawian Style guide. After greetings we will start driving to Area 43 in Lilongwe. Your accommodation will be at the luxurious Latitude 13 Hotel for a night. Day 2 - 5: The Lion Camp, South Luangwa After breakfast at the Latitude 13 Hotel in Lilongwe, we will start driving towards Mchinji border. Crossing the border into Zambia, we drive straight to The Lion Camp in South Luangwa National Park. A stylish, unique and independent lodge situated in a remote part of South Luangwa National Park with abundant and uncongested game viewing on the doorstep. Lion Camp is also distinguished by its friendly staff, personalized service and excellent food. In the absence of fence, game moves freely through the lodge grounds. Day 5 – 9: Pumulani Lodge, Cape Maclear After these few days tracking the incredible Zambian Wildlife, it is time to head back to Malawi. We will go via the Tribal Textile and then later proceed to Cape Maclear. Your next four nights will be spent at beautiful Pumulani Lodge Pumulani is an exclusive beach lodge within Lake Malawi National Park. Day 9 - 12: Mumbo Island, Cape Maclear After breakfast you will be transferred to Kayak Africa, upon arrival at Kayak Africa you will have a boat transfer to the stunning Mumbo Island. Mumbo Island is a deserted tropical island on the expansive waters of the Lake Malawi. With amazing underwater boulders, around 800 species of colorful cichlid fishes and placid, clear water, the National Park offers what many consider the best freshwater snorkeling and SCUBA diving in the world. Tours of Mumbo Island are intended to be unhurried, unrushed and tailored to your individual preferences, so you can get to know Mumbo Island personally. You could either spend your day snorkeling, enjoying the beach, or exploring this Robinson Island! By the end of the day, you could reach this cliff, known to be the best Sunset point of view, with packed chilled drinks.
