– 10 – I N T H E N E W S The Reboli Center for Art and History Reopens The Reboli Center for Art and History is pleased to announce its reopening after four months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. The current exhibit of “Dan’s Covers” will continue through August 30, 2020. It has been very popular with the com- munity as it features the work of Joseph Reboli and 12 other art- ists and their Dan’s Papers’ covers. Dan’s Papers’ covers are as well-known as their articles in- side depicting art, fashion, de- sign, food and people. In 1987, Dan Rattiner, the founder of Dan’s Papers, decided to pro- mote the art community by using paintings of Long Island artists on its covers. Dan’s Papers is celebrating 60 years of covers by artists. Joseph Reboli, for whom the Center is named after, had five artworks on Dan’s covers. Other noted artists whose covers and artwork are on display include: Casey Chalem Anderson, Marc Dalessio, Keith Mantell, Lynn Mara, Lynn Matsuoka, Mickey Paraskevas, Daniel Pollera, Doug Reina, Gia Schifano, Mike Stanko, Ty Stroudsburg, and Charles Wildbank.
