Nirvana has been a supporting partner of the British Triathlon Federation since 2002, and is delighted to be providing travel and accommodation services to the GB
Age-Group Team. With our wealth of experience in multi-sport travel, we have procured a full portfolio of travel services to support the GB Team and their guests
traveling to Edmonton.
The services include a range of accommodation options which can be fully integrated with your specific travel arrangements, along with any additional plans for
exploring further afield in Canada.
Whether you are looking to book individual elements of travel, accommodation and transfers for your trip or looking for an all-inclusive package we have a range of
options available, and of course we can always design your own bespoke itinerary. Our Edmonton Team is available if you have any specific requests.

- Pre-event inspection visit by the Nirvana team to procure a range of local support services for our athletes and their guests e.g. bike shop, swimming pools,
supermarkets and restaurants
- Hand-picked accommodation selected by our specialist team, providing a range of price points to create the Nirvana Collection, including our flagship hotel,
hosting the Great Britain Team(s)
- A bespoke Nirvana Express Transfer Service designed to transport athletes and their equipment from landing, to their accommodation as quickly and comfortably as
possible. All co-ordinated by our airport meet & greet transfer team
- Nirvana in-resort service coordinator, liaising directly with the GB Age-Group Management Team, to ensure services are fully aligned with the event programme
- Full Nirvana athlete support programme, including serviced hotel information desks, briefing areas and exclusive access to the Nirvana sport therapist and bike
mechanic at the Official GB Team Hotel.
- The programme also includes in-room bike storage and athlete-focused catering (including early breakfast on race day morning) for our guests.
SUPPORTING YOUR JOURNEY FROM START TO FINISH The Nirvana team visited Edmonton in 2019, and have selected two high quality accommodation options that we feel provide the service elements required by the GB age-group team, as well as providing good access to the event. We do however, want the accommodation and support services to be as flexible as possible to meet your individual needs. To that end, we have developed the following additional services: - Twin room sharing for athletes - Athlete-focused meals, including early race day breakfast - Fully-integrated travel solutions, including flight itineraries, designed around the event and your accommodation - Bespoke airport transfers designed for athletes and express equipment transfers OFFICIAL GRAND FINAL TRAVEL PACKAGES Our inclusive packages are designed to cover all aspects of your trip to the World Triathlon Championship Finals. From the moment you land in Canada, our experienced team will be with you every step of the way and ensure you enjoy every moment. Suitable for both athletes & spectators alike, we are providing flight-inclusive packages from London Gatwick which can be secured with only a £100 non-refundable deposit per person. WHAT CAN NIRVANA PROVIDE ME? - Flight Booking Service (including bike carriage) Nirvana's team of travel consultants are available to book your ATOL-protected flights and arrange any air shipment of specialist equipment. We work every day with most of the major airlines and airports and understand the individual carriage and collection policies. Our understanding of the wide range of airline carriage policies ensure your bike shipment is compliant and the consignment is transported safely and securely. - Edmonton airport meet & greet with return airport transfers including bike transportation ITU events provide the challenge of a lifetime in some of the world's most iconic and beautiful locations, however they are not always the easiest sites to access. Getting from your arrival point to the event site can be one of the most difficult parts of your journey, particularly if you have equipment to transport. With this in mind we provide an express transfer service direct from the airport to your hotel, coordinated by our airport meet & greet team. The transfer is available as a private or shared service and in both cases will have provision for any pre-booked equipment or special needs requirements such as children's seats. All transfers must be pre-booked. - Accommodation at the 4* Official GB Team Hotel or Partner Hotel As sport specialists, working closely with the British Triathlon Federation, the Nirvana team understand the event programme and procure hotels that offer the best possible access to the course, provide athlete friendly services and of course offer a range of price points. The Nirvana Collection of hotels includes the Official GB Team Hotel, endorsed by British Triathlon, this hotel will be the hub for the athletes and Nirvana in-resort team. The Support team are available 24/7 to support our athletes and handle any changes or issues that arise pre, post or during the event. - Meal service & early breakfast arranged on race day mornings (exclusive to Nirvana customers) When selecting our accommodation options we are always conscious of the nutritional needs of our athletes & make every effort to make sure a varied, athlete friendly and focused menu is available. We also realise that it is often an early start on race day morning and that breakfast is an essential part of your preparation, and therefore arrange and ensure an early start, athlete focused breakfast, is available for our athletes and supporters. Daily breakfast can be added to your booking at an additional charge so please just ask our customer support team to provide further info and costs..

As sports specialists we understand that your bike is an essential part of your event and as such, we provide mechanical
services for the exclusive use of our guests.
Our fully qualified, insured and experience bike mechanics will be on hand throughout your stay to offer a range of services
and advice, including but not limited to:
Pre-race services:
- Drop-off and Tune-up: Designed for bikes that are ready to ride but need a final pre-race tune up
- Unpack, Assemble and Tune-up: Designed to unpack from your bike box or bag, assembled and pre-race
tune-up
Post-race Services
- Disassemble and Pack for Transportation: Once you have finished your race, drop off your bike along with your
bike box or bag and we will disassemble and pack your bike, ready for transportation

- Transportation to all event-related activities
We realise that events in remote locations or with split transitions pose additional logistic challenges. To ensure you get to
where you need to be on time and with the equipment, we provide a shuttle services from selected hotels. The shuttle links
you seamlessly to the event, without having to worry about public transport or cycling to the event area.

The Nirvana Event Team will be in resort before you arrive to ensure all the transfer and support services are in place and fully
operational. The Team work closely with British Triathlon to understand any changes to schedules, water temperature and of
course any local road closures that could affect movements around the site. From the moment you land, the team will be
there to ensure your journey to the event is seamless and your accommodation is ready for your arrival.
It doesn’t stop there, the Nirvana team are on call 24/7 to handle any unexpected problems or facilitate any changes to your
schedule, and remain on site to coordinate your departures.
