MISSIONS
Canadian Baptist Ministries cbmin.org

CBM is our Ministry of the Month for
November. Bolivia is one of the poorest
countries in South America, and the impacts of
the global pandemic have been tragic for so
many. The economic fallout has hit
                      marginalized communities the worst. Families
are struggling to feed their children due to
rising prices, while more and more companies
are laying off employees. Many children are
struggling to catch up from the schooling they
have missed due to lockdowns and school
closures. In the red-light district of
Cochabamba, mothers who work the streets
must leave their children at home alone and
unattended. This leads to missed meals,
missed school, and an environment that is
unhealthy and dangerous. And of course, chagas disease is a
silent killer there, transmitted by an insect that thrives in adobe
walls and thatched roofs and slowly destroys internal organs,
especially the heart.

Please visit our fundraising page
(https://bolivia.hopefulgifts.ca/steve-dueck), and make a
donation. Our goal is to raise $150.00 for Bolivia this month.
