MEETING AT A GLANCE Focus: the status of FP9 and the NCP system: networks and projects When & Where: 30 and 31st of May 2018, Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea (APRE), Rome Host organisation: Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea (APRE) CONCEPT Background and aim: While some general information on the future Framework Programme are well known still there are many steps to be taken before the final adoption. The NCPs represent a major stakeholder of FP9 and a deeper discussion on the future of their system is needed. The meeting builds on the different Meet & Exchange workshops organised by the NCP Academy on the NCP System: - “Best practice for National Contact Points – European Innovation Council” - “Performance Monitoring” - “Project Officer and NCP interactions” - “NCP Systems – Benchmarking on Macro and Micro Level and Gathering Future Needs” - “Quality standards and good practices” - “Impact of NCP Networks” And aims at drafting a recommendation report on the NCP system in FP9 from the NCP perspective. HOW TO GET TRAINING VENUE TRAINING VENUE: APRE Via Cavour, 71, 00184, Roma | Tel: +39 06 48939993 HOW TO GET TO THE MEETING VENUE FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT: - taxi: if there's no heavy traffic, a ride to the city centre will take about 30-40 minutes. 48 euros (fixed rate). Public transportation: 1. Leonardo Express non-stop train service at the airport (14€, about 30 min) until the end of the line (“Termini Train Station”). Departures every half an hour at 08 min and 38 min past. 2. There is a train with intermediate stops which goes to Orte/Fara Sabina called "treno metropolitano" every 15 minutes (working day) and 30 minutes (holiday) Price of the train ticket is 8€ euro. You can get off at "Ostiense station" and take the metro line B to "Termini”. Terravision bus shuttle (4€, 40 min max) until Termini Train Station. Departures outside arrival halls. 2. Cotral bus shuttle until Anagnina Metro Station – Line A (1,20€). Then take the metro line A until Termini (1,50€).
