Hello, welcome!
We hope that your stay in Rome will be very pleasant. Here is a quick guide with useful links, phone
numbers and directions to help you make the most of your time in Rome.
VENUE
Mattatoio Testaccio, Piazza Orazio Giustiniani, 4, 00153 Roma
DAILY CHECK-IN
Registration desk is open the 7-8-9-10 June from 15:00 to 00.00 at MATTATOIO (Factory Pavillion).
Registration is mandatory EVERY DAY.
At the registration desk you will receive:
FIRST DAY
● 1 Free drink
● 1 T-Shirt
● your personal pass
EVERY DAY
● 1 Free drink
NOTICE: you have to be careful about your pass and always wear it, in order to access the Meeting
YOUR PERFORMANCE
The day of your performance, at your CHECK-IN you will receive the name of your stage manager.

Please remember that you have to be available at your stage 2 hours before your performance and meet
your stage manager or we cannot guarantee that the show can happen.
Before to start the performance you HAVE to present your project in a few minutes. This presentation
have to include:
● Your Artist Name
● Country
● Performance Name
● Brief description
If you are a participant to the Live Mapping Contest you have an annex to this document.

STUDIO 2
The STUDIO 2 is suitable for presentations, shows, performances, conferences and parties. The stage
have a big screen on back.

GALLERIA
The GALLERIA in the outdoor stage for performances and parties. The stage have a big screen on back.

The FOYER 2 is a large space full of pipes of the slaughtery, ATELIERS are 7 single rooms and both hosts
the installations.
THIS ROOMS IS HOSTING INSTALLATION BOUGHT FROM THE ARTISTS
OUTDOOR
The OUTDOOR of Mattatoio is the perfect place for the Mapping artworks, with a very big facade made of
classical shapes with a bull on top.

1. Taxi from “Fiumicino Airport” has a fixed rate of € 45,00 to “Mattatoio”
Public transport till 10.02 pm
1. “Fiumicino Airport”
2. Regional FL1 train to “Fara Sabina/Orte” stop at “Roma Ostiense” station
Departures every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends and holidays from
6.02 am to 10.02 pm (last departure), takes 35 minutes.

USEFUL GENERAL INFO
Metro & Buses
Public transport costs € 1,50 per ticket. Each ticket is valid for 100 min on bus and tram, but only for one
travel by metro.
If you expect to take the public transport often, you can purchase daily or weekly tickets at every metro
station.
