March 2021 Mary, Star of Evangelization Help us Be Missionary Disciples Welcome to March and the celebra- tion of two of our archdiocesan pa- tron saints—Patrick and Joseph. Pope Francis has asked that we pray especially in this pandemic time to St. Joseph. The Office of Faith Formation has provided a novena that can be used with individuals, families or groups. It can be done starting before the Feastday on March10th and ending with Joseph’s Feastday, March 19. The novena can also be used at anytime you would like for the year. To help with the prayer novena it is on our webpage to download and will sent to the PCLs, Youth Minis- ters, Adult Coordinators and with Flock notes. In Flock notes you can invited all in the parish to pray at dates you would like. There is a wonderful music song to St. Joseph to start the novena, the ending prayer to Joseph that the Holy Father has asked us to pray daily and a Litany to Joseph people may want to add to their prayer time. The materials are in English and Spanish with an additional song in Tagalog for the opening. The art pieces are from throughout history and ethnic cultures. Please join the Office of Faith For- mation in praying this novena. We pray it for each of you, your ministry and the needs you have. St. Joseph, intercede for us at this time in the life of the Archdiocese of San Francisco 1
