During the 2019 season, the Lady Rebels improved to a 20 - 12 overall record and fnished 4th in Region XIV. He is also the school’s athletics director. Born in Highlands, Nicholas Wade made his coaching debut at Lee College this past 2021-2022 season. Coach Wade attended the Goose Creek school systems while growing up and fnished his high school career at St. Thomas High School in Houston, Texas. After high school, Coach Wade played for Austin College, where he was part of a SCAC South Division championship. Coach Wade got his coaching start at Angelina College were in 2 years he coached 2 All Americans, and led the Roadrunners to a South Zone Championship and a Region 14 Championship, while being the back to back South Zone Coach of the year. ENERGYVENTURE CAMP 2022 For First-Time Students Only (Ages 12-14) EnergyVenture Camp 2022 For First-Time Students Only (Ages 12-14) Energy Venture Camp is an energy career exploration summer camp for middle school and high school students between the ages of 12-14. It focuses on the energy industry and career opportunities in the feld. Energy Venture blends fun and education to introduce students to the region’s ever-changing energy industry. Campers perform hands-on lab experiments, participate in team-building activities, win prizes for team eforts, learn about cutting-edge technology while touring facilities, and get frst-hand accounts from guest speakers who work in the feld. Participants must be 12 years of age on or before the frst day of camp and provide proof of eligibility: Texas School ID, Current School Report Card, or Progress Report at the time of registration (can be uploaded with online registration). SCIENCE & ENGINEERING ARTS & CRAFTS Mad Scientist Camp Everyone beware there is a mad scientist on the loose at Lee College’s Kids at College Summer Camp. The scientists will perform a variety of fun and interactive experiments throughout the week. Campers will learn how to make green acid slime, a volcano eruption, crystalize their own rock candy, create a lava lamp, learn about melting points with chocolate bars, and even make their own ice cream. The last day of camp will be a super fun day where the scientists will get to participate in a super soaker water tournament.
