THANKING OUR CLEAR CREEK INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT TEACHERS During the holiday season, the City thanked the outstanding teachers at Clear Creek Independent School District for their time and dedication to the children in our community. Mayor Donna Rogers had the honor of presenting several exceptional teachers throughout the district with a Webster gift basket that included gifts from HTeaO Webster, Topgolf, Pluckers Wing Bar, Main Event, and so many more! The teachers were then recognized during the varsity football games at Challenger Columbia Stadium. We thank the incredible teachers at CCISD and the generous businesses in Webster who donated fantastic gifts to the baskets! Webster Way | January 3

Meet the City’s Director of Finance Kristen Woolley Working on complex accounting entries and account reconciliations, Director of Finance Kristen Woolley— guides the City of Webster in all financial matters. Kristen began working for the City in September of last year. While she is originally from Thompson, Manitoba, Canada, Kristen has lived in Texas for the past 13 years and has worked in government finance for 12 years. Before Webster, she served as the Deputy Director of Finance for the City of Pearland. As the Director of Finance, Kristen’s key roles include developing the annual comprehensive financial report and City budget and overseeing the functions of purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, utility billing, treasury, and general accounting. “I wanted to work for a City where I get to be more hands-on and feel like I’m a part of the community,” says Kristen. Kristen attended Columbia College in Missouri, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Kristen aims to offer quality assistance to Webster residents and manage all financial needs with proper etiquette. “I hope to be a great steward of the taxpayers’ assets as they have entrusted us to provide exceptional City services,” says Kristen.
