Men usually refrain from speaking about interiors. While we like our clothing,
vehicles, and electronics, our appreciation for the way we live tends to be absent in
our daily life. You can see that. Either men's houses are left to their spouses with
astonishingly well-thought-out (as they were) home designs, or they're awful
mutant amalgamations of student rooms full with pointless movie posters, furniture
like the Lazy Boy, and naked lightbulbs.

It is possible to live without these complications. Every man should treat his own
space as highly as he does his clothes or vehicle. We understand that this would be
challenging, but we want to offer some tricks for beginners to improve performance.

Planning out your interior décor with
a set colour palette is quite useful. A
one-color scheme paired with lighter
and darker tones, or rich colours with
white accents for strong contrast, is
worth thinking about for the
accessories and furnishings that will
follow.

For painting, white is always a
possibility, but it comes with the
danger of appearing too clinical, so be
sure to pair it with some warm
elements to avoid a clinical feel.

                                         n many households, a frequent error
                                         is overcrowding. Although we're not
                                         advocating a total minimalist interior
                                         design for all homes, we do think it's
                                         worth planning a space so that pieces
                                         of furniture can be moved around in
                                         the future if you wish to refresh the
                                         interior while also leaving enough
                                         room for the addition of other items
                                         later on after you've lived in the home.

An area where you’ve got to be
careful but also a crucial part of really
expressing yourself. Whether it’s a
mirror, an ornate table, home bar
trolley, Eames chair or dramatic rug,
all homes need statement pieces.
There’s a fine line between good and
bad taste, of course, but if you truly
love something, it doesn’t jar against
the room’s colour palette and it fits
the space, go for it. It’s essential to
making your home feel like your own.

Of all the interior design choices,
lighting is the most obvious example
of the ability of a designer or the lack
thereof. Those who are idle and those
who are dedicated. Lights are a big
factor in defining the ambience of
each room. In addition to a utility
room or garage, every room must
have a lit bulb, but not the type of
lightbulb you can see in many houses
today.

Consider investing in big and small
lamps, as well as where they point,
the shadows they cast, where the
light is reflected, and the switch's
location (a reading area, for example,
might need a light source that is
above the area being illuminated).
The last thing you want is to
constantly move furniture around to
power something on. Any hanging
light feature that is naked and
unadorned must be avoided. But
candles can be a consideration as
well.

Rome was not constructed overnight and it takes time to produce classy interiors.
One must proceed with caution. Also, keep an eye out for new ideas and plan ahead
to make adjustments to your home based on the seasons and lighting.

Every room starts with the essentials.
In essence, these include large
furniture items, including beds, sofas,
armchairs, sideboards, dining room
tables, and so forth. Think about the
space your investments will occupy.
Invest in timeless, quality style
(again). This may be one of the more
expensive purchases you'll make, but
these items will provide the
foundation for every room and will
last for years if properly cared for.

One can easily discern a man's taste
and his character through the art on
his walls. It is imperative that we
highlight how important it is to avoid
the cliches. We agree with you that
you enjoy films, records, pop art, and
sports memorabilia, but we must
warn you against having anything
hanging on the walls that your
adolescent self would want.

Purchase a few actual pieces of art.
When you go to an exhibition, make
sure to take a look at the prints in the
gift shop, support the artistic efforts
of photographers, and choose an
older-looking frame for your photos.
You should avoid overthinking it, as
art is totally subjective. Just buy a
print if you like it.
