Lamb of God Sunday Scripture Reflection Communion Reading, studying, and especially prayerful reflection of the scriptures is central to the spiritual life of a Christian. To encourage this and frame it in a new way, I'll be beginning a Communion Hymn: #689 Praise and Thanksgiving bi-weekly reflection on the upcoming Sunday scriptures. Post Communion Canticle: The Spirit Sends Us Forth to Serve This won't be a traditional bible study where the pastor leads and breaks down a book or a passage or a series for everyone. Rather, it will be all of us bringing our own thoughts, Prayer after Communion questions, and insights on the scriptures to share equally. Guidance questions will be given to direct our reflection, but any and all insights are welcome and encouraged. Closing Blessing Focusing on the Sunday lessons allows us all to enter more deeply into Sunday eucharistic Sending Hymn: #763 My Life Flows On In Endless Song worship. We will gather on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Any and all are welcome. Dismissal Reflections will begin at 7pm. Hope you can join us. ___________________________________________________________ Pr David Readings for next week on June 27, 2021 _________________________________________________________________________ First Reading: Lamentations 3:22-33 Psalm: Psalm 30 Second Reading: 2 Corinthians 8:7-15 Gospel: Mark 5:21-43 The “Ask the Pastor” section in the bulletin is where anyone can write a question regarding faith that they would like to know more about, tear it off, and drop it in the collection plate or send it to the church office.
