JANUARY 31, 2022 HOLY HAPPENINGS Weekly Newsletter Dear Jesus, let your light shine in our Catholic schools. '96 mily Fa Holy 2022 Distinguished Graduate- Celeste Daigle Gross We are pleased to announce our Holy Family School's 2022 Distinguished Graduate, Mrs. Celeste Daigle Gross. Celeste is a 1996 graduate of Holy Family School. Celeste is an Electrical Engineer with a degree from Louisiana State University. She also spent some time at the University of Lafayette where she was a Ragin Cajun cheerleader. Celeste continues to share her talents with Holy Family by coaching track, which she participated in when she was a student here, and promoting STEM within the school. We are blessed to have her as our Distinguished Graduate! i

Catholic Schools Week is a time that the diocese proudly celebrates its schools. This year, CSW will be celebrated 1/30/2022 - 2/5/2022. A different aspect of Catholic Schools is devoted to each day of the week. Please join ys in praying for and thanking the people who make Catholic education possible for your child. Sunday: Church Parish Without Holy Family Church, we would not be Holy Family School. During mass on Sunday, Father will talk about Catholic Schools Week and how important it is to support our school. Monday: Community We will begin our week in a prayer service, led by 8th graders to celebrate our community. Tuesday: Students This day is dedicated to the blessings that we get to share our days with. We will have a student blessing and a special treat. Wednesday: Nation We will celebrate our nation with the choir singing the National Anthem and we will be writing letters to our troops. Thursday: Vocations We will attend mass and Father Ryan will speak about how important vocations are. Friday: Faculty and Staff We will celebrate our faculty and staff who help make our Catholic School. Saturday: Parents We close out our week by celebrating the parents that entrust us with their most prized possession...their children!
Students are able to wear blue shirts with uniform bottoms, TOMORROW (February 1st) in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. Baby Item Donations: Tomorrow is the last day to send in donations. Please send in donations of gift cards, diapers (all sizes), pull-ups, wipes, shampoo, soap, baby thermometer, rash cream, and any other new baby items (please do not send formula or food).

The hfs Lady Bears softball team took home GOLD in the Winter Ball Opening Tournament! Holy Family graduates, Konner Smart and Ian Ainsworth, coaching 4th grade basketball! 3rd Graders learning about the 12 Disciples and how we can follow in Jesus's footsteps.
