Dear Parents,
The year 2020-21 had been a challenging year with
teaching and learning process shifting to online medium.
Zoom classes and other online activities made it possible
to keep learning a continuous process.
The year 2021 too brought before us unforeseen challenge
when the entire world once again found itself fighting with
the second wave of COVID 19 .Under the directions of
DOE ,summer holidays were announced for students
earlier than the scheduled dates.
Keeping in mind the mental and psychological well being
of our students and to keep the young minds positively
engaged , the school has been holding activity classes .
The objective being to meet the expected language and
numeracy skills through well researched and joyful
activities.
Parents are requested to encourage and motivate their
wards to inculcate love for learning by engaging them in
plethora of activities at home.
Working together will not only help the child to build
confidence, but also will learn to reason and develop
skills necessary for his/her education. Make these
holidays memorable for them by providing a nurturing
and stimulating environment at home which is full of fun,
excitement, and active learning by engaging in :
❖ indoor games with your child.
❖ encouraging your child help around in the house
    doing small jobs like dusting, cleaning the tables,
    filling water bottles, watering plants etc. Giving them
    small responsibilities in household chores will aid in
    making them independent.

❖ spending quality time with your child, planning an
  indoor picnic on a Sunday and telling them to make
  arrangements along with you.
❖ Encouraging them to spend time with friends and
  relatives through video calls as communication will
  play pivotal role in grooming the overall personality of
  the children.
❖ Using resources (rough notebook, ruled/coloured
  sheets) which are available at home to complete all the
  fun activities including craft work.
❖ Allowing them to complete homework on their own
  under your guidance

The first segment of HHW can be submitted latest by 15th
of May. For any clarity on the work, students may
approach their respective subject teachers .

On 16th May 2021 , the second segment of HHW shall be
shared .The idea is to upgrade the listening ,speaking,
reading and writing skills of the students.

MATHS     •  Interview at least 7 members of your
             family(maternal/paternal) by using direct, telephone or video
             calling. Ask them about their well being and collect
             information about their age, date of birth, height in cm,
             weight in kg and their house number. Through this activity,
             the children will strengthen family bonds and develop a
             feeling of care, respect and compassion towards elders..
          • Draw/paste a smiling picture and write the information
             collected( in numeral and number name) for each one on
             separate chits(made from coloured paper) and paste on the
             Family tree shown here(on A-3 sheet). Also, write the same
             information about yourself at the bottom space.
